About Altea

Altea S.r.l. was born in January 1993 and in November 2004 grows into a Società per Azioni. The Company consolidated and grew in the areas of consulting and business management, reaching the actual 200 internal resources, that become more than 250 including the controlled companies of the Altea Network. A constant, progressive, growth during the years, to testify the results we achieved in all the activities performed in the most diverse fields, in both industry and services, with solutions and professionalism in private, public, national and international customer companies.

Mission of Altea is to transform our customers’ strategy in operational plans and make it concrete and executive inside the organization, “harmonizing” People, Technologies and Processes to play along with the Enterprise evolution.

Thanks to a high level of professionalism, to specific know-how, to a constant update of competencies by internal training, to all the operational synergies coming from the capitalization of all the organization’s work, and to the belonging to international knowledge networks we can reach better and lasting results: this is one of our strongholds.

The Code of Ethics adopted by Altea is the main instrument of implementation of the ethical culture within the company: the "Constitution" of the company, moral rights and duties, designed to make the Altea's values common and shared, through which building confidence to the outside.

GENERAL RULES Altea People follows the professional and ethical standards fixed in this Code; in cases not expressly covered, all the People should still keep a behavioral line that could preserve the good image of the Profession and the Company.

PROFESSIONAL CONFIDENTIALITY All information concerning the business and Customers interest acquired during our operations are covered by professional secrecy; no information will be disclosed without specific written consent of the customer and anyway used for their own benefit and / or third parties.

TASKS COMPLETION Altea People is working to ensure the Customer achieving of lasting benefits, as well as the introduction of principles and techniques suggested, in a real spirit of collaboration.

CUSTOMER CARE Consultants can not engage directly with the customer's staff. Any unsolicited Nominations (such as spontaneous responses to advertising) will be evaluated in relation to the concrete circumstances and compliance with the general rules of fairness. Consultants do not accept and do not allow their employees to accept commissions or compensation of any kind from suppliers of goods or services, the use of which they themselves have recommended or would recommend to the customer.

TASKS ACQUISITION Consultants do not affect third parties, nor against those responsible for potential clients, with commissions or payments of any kind, in order to obtain the allocation of tasks.

Altea has a Certified Quality System since 1996: CisqCert, an indipendent and accredited organism of third part, assessed (and periodically verify) our compliance within the Customer organization, from the design to the service delivery and the Customer satisfaction, in the respect of the international standards UNI EN ISO 9001:2008. This rule provides that a company must meet 8 requirements to be able to demonstrate to offer a compliant service.

The Quality Management System is applicable to the design and provision of consultancy and training in the following areas of activity: Business Application (Business Units SAP, MS, INFOR), Consulting (EOC - Enterprise Organization Control), Technologies (ETM Enterprise Technologies Management), Services (Quality, Safety & Environment); hardware and software sales; held at the headquarters of Feriolo, in Baveno (VB). Other activities conducted by Altea, all over the offices, are excluded (eg. SW development, financing).

Altea is also accredited by the Piedmont Region to carry out funded training activities; this means that the government has recognized Altea as educational institution as high as capable of providing an adequate service compared to organizational, structural and financial standards (as defined by state and by individual regions). The possession of these requirements is subject to periodic audits by the Region.

Altea has a Certified Environmental System: Certiquality, an indipendent and accredited organism of third part, assessed and periodically verify our compliance within the international standards UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 and the European Regulation EMAS III (certifications acquired in 2004 and 2005). These rules establish the basic requirements of a management system based, as well as the pursuit of legitimate business purposes, also to the environmental protection.

The EMAS Regulation also provides for the publication, by the registered company, of the "Environmental Statement", a document in which the company must show in a concise and truthful way, all information relating to its environmental impacts and the reached results in environmental protection (eg. reduction of power consumption, better waste management, etc.).

The Altea Environmental Management System covers all the activities held at the headquarter of Feriolo in Baveno (VB); the activities conducted in the other Altea offices are excluded.

The Environmental Policy is available to the public on our institutional web site www.alteanet.it
