HOW IT WORKS

SETUR DVE 120 is an environmental self-contained electricity generating unit powered by a PATENTED BLADELESS rolling turbine, that can produce electri-cal energy up to 1.3 Kw per unit.

The turbine operates on a brand-new hydro-mechan-ical principle where the rolling body is of an axially symmetrical shape and is located in the outlet cone.

The Micro-Turbine can be used effectively under dif-ficult conditions with mechanical impurities, chang-ing levels and flows, and with relatively small flows of liquids, i.e.:

4 - 15 litres/sec. and head 2 - 15 metres.

The Micro-Turbine unit is fixed to a concrete block containing inlet piping. Attached generator produc-es 12 or 24V electricity. Generated electricity can be used directly or stored in batteries.

Multiple Micro-Turbine units can be installed togeth-er to raise the total Kw to the desired level.

ElImINATE RIVER DAmS

The biggest problem with commercial hydro elec-tric power plants is that they need to be big to be economically viable. Because they are big they require lots of flow day an night, and to get that flow they need a dam in the river.

Dams flood valleys, destroy arable farm land, wild life, and with them native cultures and lifestyles.

The SETUR DVE 120 does not require a lot of flow, so no dams are required. Since there are no dams the flow of the river is not interrupted and the fish and game are less affected.

The units can simply be placed in the river in banks similar to the ocean CURRENTS application, with as many as are needed for the desired draw.

Because it has few parts, the SETUR DVE 120 does not require servicing for many years, mak-ing it an ideal alternative for any size project

HARNESS SEA CURRENTS

For years man has been trying to harness the power of the sea, the changing of the tides and the undersea currents to generate power. Until recently technology was not up to the challenge.

Enter the SETUR, a bladeless patented rolling turbine that does not interfere with fish migra-tions, or debris, and because it has few parts, does not require servicing for many years.

Using the CURRENTS application we have a sys-tem to place multiple units with an accumulated capacity of 1MW in a bank taking a very small ocean floor area of just 4m x 250m.
