Reunion time is fast approaching! Can you believe that five years havepassed since your last reunion? Make your plans now to join us for AlumnaeWeekend, April 25-28, 2019. Spring is a great time to come back to campus,enjoy the nostalgia of your college days and witness today’s amazing AgnesScott students.

This is a very special year in that in addition to your class reunion activities,you are also invited to the activities for the inauguration of the ninth presidentof the college, Leocadia I. Zak. You will not want to miss the installationceremony, SUMMIT showcase or dance party. Campus tours are alwaysenjoyable, and we are excited to show off the renovation of Rebekah ScottHall, especially the Elizabeth Kiss Welcome Center. And, we hope you will join us for the Outstanding Alumnae Awards Luncheon, The Hub Sing and President Zak’s first Alumnae Convocation.

2–4 p.m. Tour of Newly Renovated Rebekah Scott Hall and the Elizabeth Kiss Welcome Center After 15 months of renovations, the historic Rebekah Scott Hall opened for the fall 2018 semester. The multimillion dollar project included the renovation of student residences on the second and third floor, as well as the creation of the Elizabeth Kiss Welcome Center on the first floor. Once renovations were completed, Rebekah Scott Hall received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum Certification, the most widely-used green building rating system in the world, and Platinum is the highest-level rating.

2–4 p.m.Open House for Alumnae Scott-Sams House The president’s residence was moved in thesummer of 2017 to 312 S. Candler Street. This historical Victorian house was built in 1883 by Bucher Scott, son of George W. Scott, founder of Agnes Scott College.

What to Bring: Atlanta weather in April can be unpredictable. Plan for warm days and cool nights, and remember those comfortable shoes for walking.

Parking: No parking permit is needed foralumnae who park in the West Parking Facility,South Candler lot or “Main Loop.”Handicapped parking spaces are available onthe “Main Loop” and on the first level of theparking facility. Golf carts will be provided toassist alumnae and guests with transportationon campus throughout the weekend.
