Updates Coming!We have some exciting news! In the comingweeks, we will be rolling out two systemupgrades that will enhance and personalizeyour alumni experience. First, all alumni will be issued an official Rose-Hulman email account. You can now showyour RHIT pride with an @rose-hulman.eduemail address. Second, some great updates will be coming toyour alumni portal. All of the features in thecurrent RoseSTEM will be available with somegreat enhancements, including the ability tosee your giving history. Watch your email for more details comingsoon about both of these updates!

Alumna Spotlight:Tarelle Osborn Tarelle (Van Dyk) Osborn (CE, '01) earned the2016 Civil Engineering Entrepreneur of theYear Award from the American Society of CivilEngineers for her work as owner of OsbornConsulting, located in Bellevue, Wash. Thefirm has been recognized as a workplace witha culture and policies that align with Osborn’spersonal values gained at Rose-Hulman:professionalism, collaboration and creativity,relationship building, and lifelong learning,along with health and well-being, laughter, andfun. She earned the Alumni Association’sDistinguished Young Alumni Award in 2009.

Assist customers, demo products, correct errors and provide engineer-levelsupport.-Laboratory Manager (Biosan Laboratories): Warren, Michigan. Supervise microbiologicaltesting conducted, execute day-to-day operations and schedule samples, provide technicalservice to laboratory, update testing methods.-Lead Software Developer (Rose-Hulman Ventures): Terre Haute, Indiana. Manage andfacilitate project teams, serve as lead developer, manage a team of students, be the client POCfor products, serve as a mentor, coordinate resources as necessary.-Transportation Engineer/Project Manager (EMCS): Indianapolis, Indiana. Design projectsincluding freeways, urban and rural roadways, multi-use paths, and developments. Technicaldesign, project management and business development are also included in positionresponsibilities.-Lead Optical Systems Engineer (Harris): Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Provide optical systemexpertise, provide critical support, provide on-site support, work to provide optical hardwareand other products. Pole Day - May 19thEarly Bird RegistrationSunday, May 19th is Pole Day at theIndianapolis Motor Speedway. Attendees willenjoy a lunch buffet with fried chicken and allthe fixings! The event will take place in theArie Luyendyk & Louis Meyer suites onLegends Row. The cost for registration includes food, beer,and all other non-alcoholic beverages (soda,water, etc.), admission and garage passes.Individuals 18 years and older are permittedto tour the garages. Register by Monday, April 15 to get thespecial early bird rate of $35 per person! Cost for registration after April 15 is $50 perperson.
