Contributions to Annual Alumni Fund set record for the tenth consecutive year!!

TOTAL RECEIPTS of $12,490.97 represented a record breaking 17% increase over last year's record of $10,666. 971 members and friends were contributors, only 29 short of this year's

goal but 3% or 26 contributions ahead of the record established in 1974-75. For the first time, Theta Chapter (Purdue) led in both number of contributors and dollars

contributed with 102 and $1,441.76 respectively, and established new records by being the first chapter to exceed 100 contributors and fourteen hundred dollars contributed, in the history of the fund.

In second place was Beta Chapter (Cornell) with contributions totaling $1,337.40. Closely following was Eta Chapter (Illinois) with contributions totaling $1,323.76. Nu Chapter (Indiana) and Lambda Chapter (California) with contributions of $1,228.28 and $904.22 respectively were fourth and fifth. These five chapters finished in the top five positions last year but each chapter raised its level of giving substantially.

Nu Chapter fell to second place with 96 contributions but equaled its own record of the prior year. Beta Chapter was third with 93 contributions closely followed by Eta Chapter with 92 contributions. Lambda Chapter remained in fifth place with 69 contributions.

Besides setting records in number of contributors and dollars contributed, the 1975-76 Fund also established several additional records. The average gift of $12.86 set a new high and was almost two tiines larger than the average gift ten years ago. 9.3 % of our living Alumni contributed to the Fund exceeding last year's record of 9.1 % - This year more memorial gifts were received than ever before. Thirteen chapters, namely Gamma, Eta, Theta, Lambda, Mu, Nu, Omicron, Xi, Sigma, Chi, Psi, Epsilon Alpha and Illinois State set new records with the current number of donors exceeding or equaling their previous records. ·

Although for the Fraternity as a whole 9.3 % of its living members contributed to the 1975-76 Annual Alumni Fund, thirteen chapters had more than 10% of their alumni contribute. In first place again this year was Omicron Chapter (Butler) with a remarkable 32.6% . Eta Chapter again led the active chapters with 18.3 % of its members contributing. Although last year's goal of more than 10% participation was not achieved, three more chapters reached the goal individually. 75 more contributions during the 1976-77 Annual Alumni Fund Campaign will allow the fraternity to reach its long sought goal of ten percent.

The receipts from the Annual Alumni Fund continue to be an important source of revenue for the National Fraternity. Moreover through Annual Giving our members have the opportunity to demonstrate that fraternity is more than a word. It is an experience both tangible and intangible. It is an experience worth sharing with others. It.is an experience which has and will continue to play an important role in their lives. Those Alumni who give both to the National Alumni and to their individual chapters experience the satisfaction of knowing that the fraternity, KAPPA DELTA RHO, which was so important to them as undergraduates is being continued for the present undergraduates and for those who will follow them. As we begin the 1976-77 campaign may those members who have read this report of goals achieved or nearly achieved be inspired in equal measure as those dedicated and dynamic alumni and undergraduates who, through their efforts and contributions, have made the Annual Alumni Fund a vital force in the life of the Fraternity. ·
