Boston’s historic North End is a mecca for Italian cuisine, and Lilly has been its go-to pasta supplier for over 30 years.

Lilly still oversees production and ensures that the pasta is made the way it should be. She refuses to cheapen her products with inferior ingredients, and holds every small batch to the same quality standards that have characterized her cooking for decades.

Simple ingredients for the best flavor: Our pasta is made from the country’s finest semolina, grade A eggs, and water - that’s it. No cheap fillers, no preservatives. Nothing beats the flavor of simplicity, so why mess with it?

One-of-a-kind texture: Unlike many manufacturers, Lilly’s uses traditional front-to-back bronze dies. The resulting dough is more porous, giving it a spongy, hearty “bite” and a better ability to absorb flavors and sauces.

The D’Alelio family arrived in the U.S. from Genoa, Italy with little but the clothes on their backs and a knack for phenomenal homemade pasta. “Mama” Lilly opened her modest shop in 1986, and began to approach local chefs with her expertly

What’s in a Lilly’s Ravioli?

Our fillings are made from fresh, all natural ingredients, no can openers required. We sauté our vegetables and prepare our meats and seafood right in our own kitchen.

Lilly’s ravioli contain about 80% filling, 20% pasta, and 0% air, thanks to our unique piston-filling mechanism.

Since our ravioli are always fresh-frozen, never precooked, we can fill the raw pasta dough with much more of the good stuff without worrying about them breaking or bursting.

All Ravioli ship flash-frozen and can be cooked directly from a frozen state.

Fresh, raw pasta increases in yield by 30 to 40% when you prepare it. When you buy precooked pasta, the extra water weight is already there - and you pay for it.

Fresh pasta also has a better taste and texture - not to mention the signature “bite” of delicious al dente pasta. It’s truly the closest you can serve to homemade pasta without rolling out the dough yourself.
