As I did at the September Club meeting, I want to thank our
September Events Committees and
club members for their hard work: first Gale and Cheryl Graves
for the Labor Day Walking
Field Trial, then Sherry Meinke and Russ Roth the following
weekend for the Hunt Test. Both
committees had to deal with adverse weather conditions, the
Walking Trial for very Hot
weather and the Hunt Test for very raining cool conditions.
Committee members did an
excellent job of dealing with these adverse conditions and put
on excellent events. Thanks to
Jen Goodall and Bob Reynolds and their committee for putting on
another great event, the Fall
Horseback Field Trial.
Coming up will be our Annual Banquet on December 1st with
another hard-working committee
headed by Sherry Meinke. My thanks go to Anne Weslow for her
work on the Web page and
Newsletters. I am very pleased with are growing membership
numbers and want to thank
Sherry Meinke for her diligent efforts in that area. Another
thank you goes to Diane Fazio for
stepping up to be the Secretary for the Spring Horseback Trial.
Without these Chair people and
their committees, we would have no events, so I am very grateful
that we have these volunteers!
Please mark your calendars for the upcoming club meeting with
board elections on November
17th and the Annual Banquet on December 1st. I look forward to
seeing everyone at these
outings.

Banquet on December 1, 2018.
