In alignment with the efforts of our forefathers to establish a healthcare organization to care for the needs of its people, Gila River Health Care embarked on a path to build world-class facilities and service excellence in the delivery of Native American healthcare. Healthcare service extends from GRHC's three main campuses and behavioral health services/residential treatment center. Additional service points offer care across the seven districts of the Gila River Indian Community and within the Ak-Chin Indian Community. The Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital Campus, located in Sacaton, Arizona, is just 25 minutes from downtown Phoenix, features a rural feel and serves as the
anchor campus for the east side of the Gila River Indian Community. Among the service lines offered are the Caring House, Skilled Nursing Facility, Primary Care, Life Center/Diabetes Services, Dialysis Center and Emergency Department. The Komatke Health Center Campus located in Laveen, Arizona, is a short 20-minute drive west of downtown Phoenix. Many of the same essential service lines are found at this campus including: Primary Care, Dialysis Center, Dental, and Pharmacy. Additionally this health center GRHC provides healthcare to the Ak-Chin Indian Community from the satellite Ak-Chin clinic located near Maricopa. The third campus, Hau'pal (Red Tail Hawk) Health Center will open 2018, and is located within the urban outskirts bordered by Chandler and Phoenix. This campus will serve as the premier Native American healthcare system in the Central Arizona region, healthcare for the heavily Native American-populated southeast area of metropolitan Phoenix.
