methods in an actual textile testing laboratory.

The Thermal Camera

Measures the amount of heat emitted from an object or person . Temperature measurements are used to redesign apparel when heat is an issue, such as athletic or cold weather wear.

fashion presentation and exhibition of original apparel

New York Fashion Field Study

Students have the opportunity to participate in

an intensive study of the garment district in NYC as

well as other regional fashion centers.



Fashion Association of Merchandising and Design

FAMD is an active student organization that

serves as an informal network for students with an interest in design and fashion. FAMD provides leadership opportunities for students and offers professionally related

activities outside of the classroom.
