America’s Great LoopCruisers’ Association
About AGLCA Established in 1999, America’s Great Loop Cruisers’ Association is a member organization of people who share a sense of adventure and curiosity about America’s Great Loop - the continuous waterway encompassing the Atlantic and Gulf Intracoastal Waterways, the Great Lakes, the Canadian Heritage Canals, and the inland rivers of America’s heartland.
Our primary mission is to disseminate information and enhance the overall experience for all those actively cruising, or dreaming of cruising, the Great Loop.

“We use Google Analytics...amazed to see how many hits come from AGLCA.” Captains Chris & Alyse Caldwell, Captain Chris Yacht Services “As a Sponsor, you are very well recognized by Loopers... members are very well dedicated and will take the time to promote/endorse your business. The Discussion Forum online is a great way to get the word out about specials.” Jill Snider, South Bay Cove Marina “Your group is a serious boating group who actually goes places- they don’t just sit at the dock and talk about it. Because they are using their boats, they are serious shoppers.” Captain Henry Marx, Landfall Navigation

www.GreatLoop.org AGLCA’s website is THE hub for Loopers. Here, members learn about the Great Loop, seek each other’s advice through the Discussion Forum, search for other members and even buy boating products online.
All these resources generate a lot of traffic. Our website receives 36,000 visits each month. That guarantees thousands of visitors will see your logo and ad (placement and advertising vary depending on Sponsor level). There’s no better way to get your message in front of buyers actively seeking boating information.
Radio Our weekly web radio show highlights the preparation, planning and cruising of the Great Loop. Knowledgeable guests share their expertise on everything from cruising Lake Michigan to repairing engines. Because it’s a live program, listeners can call in with questions and get immediate answers. The show is later archived and available for re-listening anytime on the website. A separate radio program is devoted entirely to Admiral Sponsors. Instead of a 30-second commercial, Admiral Sponsors can take the time to explain the benefits of their products in a question-and-answer format. Newsletter The Great Loop Link, AGLCA’s bi-monthly newsletter, is printed and distributed to 4,000 members worldwide. Articles focus on navigational tips, scenic stops along the Loop, accomplishments and social activities hosted by members. The indispensable content and vibrant photos make this newsletter one that members keep and read frequently. There’s even a section specifically for sponsors called “Sponsors Corner”. It profiles services and products that need more than just a logo, allowing you to describe in your own words what your business is all about. Email Send a direct message to Loopers through our bi-weekly email blast. The E-Update features “A Word from our Sponsor”, which is limited to just one Sponsor per issue. You can create a message and submit accompanying graphics to memorably promote your business. Events AGLCA’s Rendezvous brings you face-to-face with your target audience. Held twice a year, the Rendezvous draws an average of 200 members. The three-day event provides great networking opportunities for Loopers, all against the backdrop of an attractive locale with exciting amenities.
Sponsor exhibits let you showcase your products and sell those goods immediately. You can also host an event, such as a breakfast, lunch, or reception; generating even greater exposure through use of banners, door prizes and an opportunity to introduce yourself and your services.
Get in the Loop Make a direct connection to the most active audience of boating enthusiasts available! Our sponsorships offer a focused approach to marketing, providing consistent exposure with opportunities to build rapport and name recognition among an avid boating community.
