Habitat American Black
bears mostly live in and around wooded and streamy areas. Black bears sleep in trees and caves.
Diet American Black
bears flourish on berries, mushrooms, grass, flowers, roots, nuts, bugs, birds, eggs, fish, and dead animals.
AppearanceThe American black bears’ pelt maybe, black, brown, blond, red, or grey, maybe even WHITE ! Black bears have flat heads, flat backs, and short claws. Adult male American black bears can be up to one meter in height.
Life Cycle/Enemies For the first year of
their life the mother bear cares for her cubs. The main enemies of the American black bears are, large wild pigs, other bears, and humans.
