American House Choir!It’s again starting to be that time to get our voices
in tune and recruit new members with musical talentand the desire to sing. The American House Choir willstart back up in the month of September with thedate and time of rehearsals still to be determined. Soif you would like to be a choir member, please seeElizabeth, and she will get your name on the list.Believe me ... since the choir has formed, it has beena very rewarding experience in many ways.

Resident Council Meetings!Some of you may not be aware of
our monthly resident council meetings.The purpose of this meeting is forresidents to be updated on upcomingevents within our community, a time tospeak with the management staff, offersuggestions and voice any concerns.These meetings are held monthly, soplease reference the newsletter forthe date.
Detroit ZooWe will be taking an adventure to the
Detroit Zoo on October 4th. Theadmission is $10 for seniors and $14 foradults. Those wishing to go who needassistance with a wheelchair will need afriend or family member to assist on thetrip. Also, please plan on buying yourown lunch at the zoo.
Join Us for an Adventure!Come on out on a new adventure! On
Wed., September 19th, we will bedriving up to Lansing to get the grandtour of our State Capitol. We will beleaving late morning to arrive for ourtour at 2pm and meet with our StateSenator, David Knezek. If you areinterested, please sign up earlier thanlater. We will be bringing a baggedlunch, and wear comfortable shoes. Ifinterested, please see Elizabeth.

wheelchair lift capable of lifting up to 300 pounds.The wheelchair cannot exceed 30 inches in width,and the van cannot accommodate electricwheelchairs.
