ALL AMFICO Hubs feature OUR logo and the UL mark fully visible
and stamp etched on BOTH the body and hub locknut. Other products
only show markings on the UNDERSIDE of the locknut, and in fact,
the manufacturer’s name is normally missing.

OUTPERFORMS & OUTLASTS softer weaker zinc die cast and
malleable iron products. Unlike die cast or malleable iron, AMFICO
Hubs do not require stabilizing ridges to maintain shape.

corrosion resistant zinc electroplated.
CAPTIVE CHEMICAL RESISTANT STEEL SEALING RING & WASHER -
Full steel metal cup washer with a certified HPDEweather resistant
washer (130º rated) attached and captive on body threads
(replaceable). UL Listed Insulated throat bushing for easy pull of
wires. Insulated throat bushings are rated 120º c rating. ]Metal
cup washer ensures uniform concentric compression of washer.
SPACE SAVER DESIGN - The unique hub body dimension takes up far
less room on panels or enclosures. This provides more interior
space and real estate for ease of wiring and conduit placement
during the installation.
FULLY MACHINED THREADS - Our locknut & hub body are CNC
machine cut for accuracy. This creates tighter bond, easier
install, & eliminates cross threading prevalent on the soft
threads of die cast or malleable iron (a common cause of
leakage).
STRONGEST INDUSTRY LOCKNUT WITH TEETH THAT BITE TIGHT - Fully
machined steel locknut with deep sharp knurled teeth fully cut into
enclosure for serious bonding. Locknut edge features full flat
services for easy torque and compression with asimple channel lock
and a notched area for that extra “bump”.
UNIQUE HEX DESIGN ALLOWS FULL INDUSTRIAL TORQUE VALUES - Hub
bodies feature a unique hex design with full flat surfaces for easy
tightening with a simple channel lock. Both hubs and locknuts are
strong enough to take maximum torque without fear of damage to the
fitting or threads.

• Creep (elongation under load) is defined as the time dependent
strain that takes place under a givenload. Any fissure within a die
casting when placed under a given load will expand and may
ruptures

Since 1946
While, die cast fittings may be aptly suited for residential and
light commercial projects, they are unsuitable for today’s
industrial, infrastructure,transportation, institutional, and
petro-chemical projects. Low tensile strength, soft cast threads,
and of course their misleading (unknown) product origin. Most come
from high production, very low cost off shore factories. These
products are subject to low after production randominspection
levels; they were originally tested to meet the minimum UL test
standards. Today they carry big brand labels for resale.
