Power boost
Portable unit with handle and battery clamp storage. Suitable to jump start vehicles with discharged batteries. The Power Boost can be conveniently recharged whilst driving via cigarette lighter socket or by using mains charger provided. Discharged vehicle battery can be removed without disrupting or endangering systems such as vehicle computer or radio settings etc. Simply plug Power Boost into cigarette lighter socket and proceed. Internal sealed battery 17 A Hr. Charger 2 A CVC in separate metal housing. Power Boost can be used as a 12 volt emergency battery supply.
The 60 series is available in 12 or 24 volt versions. It is the most appropriate unit for motor vehicle and truck dealers. This universal heavy duty charger features fast slow charge and battery Boost facility. It Is also ideal for fleet operators.

INDICATING INSTRUMENTS
MPTRONA
The Charger operates in a constant voltage/current mode. It is designed to have a square type of characteristic as illustrated. When the battery is low, the charger is underthe control of the current feedback signal, thus ensuring that a constant current is applied to the battery. Under these conditions the battery voltage will rise slowly untilthe predetermined constant voltage setting is reached. At this point the charger current will decrease while the charger operates in the constant voltage mode, can floatcharge the battery indefinitely. The current and voltage settings can be varied for different charging rates as required.
