Gagan Bhalla General Manager, Middle East & North Africa

Gagan Bhalla is a Computer Science graduate and an MBA in

Marketing, with close to 13 years of market research experience, of

which, a considerable part has been in the MENA region.

He joined IMRB International in 1997. In 2000, he moved to AMRB in

Dubai as part of the initial set up team. In March 2004, he took over

responsibility of AMRB Egypt, and was based in Cairo for two years,

looking after Egypt and North Africa. In April 2006, he moved back to

Dubai to take up overall responsibility of AMRB across Middle East and

North Africa.

Gagan has worked on a variety of accounts, spanning fmcg, durables,

lifestyle, financial services, automotive and telecom. He has been

involved in projects across the region and has a deep understanding of

the Arab consumer.

Aurobindo Choudhury Associate Vice President

Aurobindo Choudhury is one of the senior most members of the AMRB

research team. A mechanical engineer and MBA, Auro has been in the MR

industry for close to 12 years.

He joined IMRB Calcutta in 1998 and was deputed to AMRB in Feb 2001.

Based in Dubai, he heads one of the largest SBUs within AMRB. He is also

the regional account lead for our largest client, British American Tobacco.

He has worked on a variety of categories, which includes FMCG, foods and

beverages, tobacco, financial services, durables etc. He has rich

experience of working with clients and consumers across the MENAP region

and is an authority on tobacco research and Millward Brown protocols.

Monita Vohra Associate Vice President

Monita Vohra brings with her more than 13 years of experience in

Market Research & Consultancy. The past 7 years she has worked in the

MENA region and currently heads the qualitative division at AMRB.

She has worked on variety of sectors, some of which include child care,

media research, financial research, research for FMCG products, food &

beverages, brown goods and white goods, personal care products, etc.

She has handled a wide array of both Qualitative and Quantitative

studies during her career in MR, which include Market Mapping and

Segmentation, Brand Monitoring, Customer Satisfaction, Product/Concept

Tests, Advertising pre-tests, Feasibility Studies, Demand Estimation

Neeraj BehlRegional Manager, North Africa

Neeraj Behl has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics & an MBA in

Marketing. He joined Research International Delhi in 2001 and was

transferred to AMRB in February 2005.

During his association of close to 9 years with MR industry, Neeraj has

handled a range of studies in Indian sub-continent, SE.Asia, N. Africa,

GCC and Levant region. His experience spans a gamut of research

techniques – Pricing research/ channel management, Simulated test

marketing, Usage & Attitude, Brand positioning & image, Tracking

research, Concept / Pack /product testing and various ad-hoc research

projects

Neeraj currently looks after Egypt and North Africa region for AMRB,

and is based in Cairo.

Amol GhateAssociate Vice President

Amol Ghate, is an Electronics Engineer and an MBA. He started his Market

Research career in TNS India in 2001 and then moved to AMRB Egypt in

2004.

He took over as Manager of AMRB Egypt in 2006 and was instrumental in

building AMRB into a strong research brand across North Africa. He moved

to Dubai in 2009 to take over responsibility of the Millward Brown business.

He is also the regional account lead on one of our largest accounts,

Unilever.

Amol has extensive experience of Brand tracking, Ad pretesting, U&A’s,

Product/Pack/Concept tests, Pricing research, STM’s etc. He has worked

across various categories like FMCG, Foods and Beverages, Automotive,

Durables and Services.

Sukhdev Singh has a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering

and an MBA in Marketing. He joined IMRB International in 2002 and

moved to AMRB in 2007. He brings along over a decade of B2B &

Industrial research experience to the AMRB team.

Before joining IMRB Sukhdev worked with a dedicated industrial

research consultancy, Feedback Consultant in India for 2 years and a

year in the strategy team of Lafarge Prestia Thailand.

Sukhdev has worked on market research studies from various sectors

including Building & construction, IT, Telecom, Industrial products and

consumables, industrial machinery, Energy & environment, Tourism,

Ferrous & non-ferrous metals, Government and public sector etc.

Sukhdev also has hands on experience of industrial interviewing in

various markets including South Asia, Far East and Middle East.

Amal Jnidi has over 20 years of field management experience in

KSA. She is also one of the most accomplished moderators in the

Kingdom.

Amal joined AMRB in 2002 as a moderator – over time she took on

the responsibility of managing fieldwork for both qualitative as well

as quantitative projects.

She now heads the Operations function in Saudi Arabia, having a

team of full time executives in Jeddah and Riyadh. Apart from

managing projects in KSA, Amal has also developed a dedicated

team of male and female moderators.

Raja Gangopadhyay has over 22 years of field management

experience, across varied geographies like South Asia, Far East,

Africa and Middle East.

He joined AMRB in 2006 – his has been instrumental in setting up

our field operations in UAE and also developing field teams in the

other GCC markets (non Saudi).

Raja and his team of executives now handle fieldwork across all

GCC markets other than KSA.

Mohamed Said joined AMRB’s Egypt office in 2001 when it was

just being set up. He has over 15 years of field management

experience and has been instrumental in building AMRB’s presence

in Egypt.

Mohamed has managed fieldwork for all types of qualitative and

quantitative research projects. In addition to his field management

role he has also developed his skills in moderation and is now one

of our most experienced moderators in Egypt.

Since 2006, Mohamed has been actively involved in overseeing our

field operations in other North African markets as well – Algeria,

Sudan, Libya and Morocco.

Mohamed Saad joined AMRB in 2007, with the responsibility of

managing our field operations in Algeria. He has over 8 years of

field management experience.

Over the last few years, Mohamed has been managing fieldwork

for both qualitative and quantitative projects in Algeria. He has

also been able to develop contacts in other North African markets

like Tunisia and Libya, who can conduct fieldwork on behalf of

AMRB.

Recently, Mohamed has moved to Morocco to set up AMRB’s

extension office in that market – he is now based in Casablanca,

and looking into developing AMRB’s field capabilities in Morocco.
