Website Old IETF website removed from www4 location and moved to subdirectory of new website /old/2009 where it will remain indefinitely. Webserver configuration, script controls, file system links and handlers all had to be updated to support this new configuration (22 hours) Specialized automatic compression system was implemented on the IETF website which causes pages and items to be compressed on the fly before transmission. Recommendation provided by community member. Result: visible speed improvements and site page downloads. (4 hours)
