Ea Pre-Filters Help prevent large particles from sticking to EaAR and EaAU Filters and blocking the fl ow of air in racing ap-plications. Polyester mesh bags fi t over the top of existing air fi lters and feature an industrial-grade elastic band at the opening to ensure the pre-fi lter does not slide off. Prevent particles down to 0.005” from getting to the air fi lter without signifi cantly reducing airfl ow. Particles larger than 0.005” generally fall off the prefi lter.

Sales Tax InformationAMSOIL INC. is registered to collect sales tax in each state, province and most local jurisdictions where applicable. AMSOIL is responsible for col-lecting and remitting sales tax to the appropriate taxing jurisdiction for all AMSOIL Dealers and accounts.

Tax Rate DeterminationSales tax rates are set in the following manner:

1. If you pick up your order at an AMSOIL Distribution center, you will be charged the applicable sales tax at that point of sale. This is the prevailing tax rate at that Distribution Center.

2. If you have the order shipped, sales tax will be charged at the rate ap-plicable to the ship-to address, with the exception of orders being shipped within one of the following states: Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia.

Exemption Certifi cates If you prefer to pay state sales tax directly to your state revenue department rather than have it collected by AMSOIL at the time of purchase, contact your state for registration information.

AMSOIL INC. requires proper documentation on fi le at AMSOIL Corporate Headquarters for those with an exempt status. Refer to the Uniform Sales Tax Certifi cate (G495) for more information. Complete the Uniform Sales Tax Certifi cate if you are registered with your state to collect sales tax. Sev-eral states have state-specifi c requirements. These include: Florida, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, New York, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming. Refer to the Uniform Sales Tax Certifi cate for specifi c state-by-state require-ments.

It is important that you are aware that under the terms of state registrations, you will be exempt only in those states in which you have a valid registra-tion. It is the responsibility of AMSOIL INC. to collect sales tax on all sales unless the products are exempt or the ultimate purchaser provides a valid exemption certifi cate.

If you pick up products at an AMSOIL Distribution Center in a state where you are not registered to collect sales tax you will need to complete a Uni-form Sales Tax Certifi cate and return it to AMSOIL INC. so the appropriate records can be updated. This will allow you to pick up products at any loca-tion with a tax exempt status because you are taking them into another state for resale.

Sales Tax Table as of January 1, 2009This table provides you with the state sales tax rate and a combined average rate by state. This will allow you to estimate the sales tax due on your order. Please note that the rate is an average combined rate and there may be other local rates you will need to take into consideration. Local taxing jurisdictions can include county, city, district, township, parish, borough, municipality, etc.At the time you place your order the correct sales tax will calculate based on the destination of your product or pick-up location. Sales tax is calculated at the point of sale, which is the location where the goods are received by the purchaser – the end destination. Hawaii:• Accounts or Dealers with a tax exemption must pay 0.5% on product total.

• Accounts or Dealers without a tax exemption must pay 4.5% on product total.

Rhode Island:• There is a $0.10 per-gallon tax on the ANT series.• There is a $0.05 per-quart tax on the following lubricating oils: engine oil, diesel oil, gear lube, chaincase lubricant, transmission fluid, two-cycle oil, bar and chain oil, hydraulic oil, chain and gar oil and compressor oil.

• There is a $0.0025 per-gallon tax on products that contain organic sol-vents. These products include: two-cycle oil, gasoline additives, diesel fuel additives, Metal Protector, Silicone Spray, Power Foam and Engine Flush.

Texas:• There is a $0.01 per-quart tax on automotive oils. This includes: engine oil, diesel oil, gear lubes, transmission fluid and hydraulic/transmission fluid.

Utah:• There is a $0.04 per-quart lubricating oil fee pertaining to all containers except those 55 gallons or bigger on the following lubricants: engine oil, diesel oil, Shock Therapy, gear lube, hydraulic oil, chain and gear oil and compressor oil.

Freight and Handling InformationFreight and Handling ChargesYou may order products shipped freight collect OR pre-pay the freight us-ing the schedule included in your account-specific ordering information sheet (Dealer/P.C.: G2604; ROTS: G2603; Commercial: G2602)

Third-party billing is allowed. When third-party billing is requested, the UPS/FEDEX account number of the third party must be supplied at the time of order placement. Parcel Post shipments to military P.O. Boxes will be charged actual freight charges and cannot be shipped freight collect.

Additional Delivery FeesCarriers may charge an additional fee for delivery to a residence. The con-signee pays any ADDITIONAL freight charges in these situations. Allow up to 2-3 days more for rural delivery. Some LTL carriers charge a fee when customers request a call before delivery or lift gate service. The consignee pays for this additional service.

Pick-Up OrdersIt is advisable to call the AMSOIL Distribution Center before travelling to pick up product. All orders scheduled for “Pick-Up” must be picked up within 5 days of the date of the order. This can also be pre-arranged with the distribution center manager. Orders that are not picked up within the time-frame will be cancelled.

RoutingYou may include specific routing instructions with your order. However, because the pre-paid freight schedule is based on using the most economi-cal method of transportation, the final decision on routing pre-paid freight orders rests with the AMSOIL Distribution Center Manager. If you need a specific routing guarantee, specify that your order be shipped “Freight Collect.” UPS/FEDEX and Parcel Post shipments cannot be shipped Freight Collect. AMSOIL recommends searching for the best rates to your location and specify Freight Collect for larger shipments.

Please contact your nearest AMSOIL Distribution Center for details when requesting air freight, expedited freight, LTL services or Saturday deliveries. Actual freight charges will apply in these situations, so be sure to ask for estimated delivery times via each shipping method and estimated costs to make your best routing decisions.

Claims and Damaged Shipments(NOTE: Claims must be made within 7 days from the time of receipt.)

Items Picked Up at a Distribution CenterIf you pick up an order at any distribution center and discover concealed damage when the product is opened, return the damaged product to the same distribution center for exchange at your convenience. Your copy of the invoice or packing slip should accompany such an exchange. The exchange can only be made for exactly the same products.

Parcel Post Shipments from a Distribution Center1. Claims for damages by Parcel Post must be fi led by the purchaser.2. Return damaged merchandise and cartons to the local post offi ce when

the claim is fi led.3. All claims are returned to the shipper for verifi cation of mailing date and

distributor cost of the damaged items.4. If reimbursement is made to AMSOIL INC. as the shipper, AMSOIL will

replace the shipment to the purchaser at no charge.5. You can also accept reimbursement on your claim. If so, you must place

United Parcel Service (UPS) & Federal Express (FEDEX) Shipments

Please inspect the shipment before signing for delivery. When there is vis-ible damage, refuse to accept delivery. UPS/FEDEX will return the damaged goods to the AMSOIL Distribution Center and the distribution center will re-ship your order. If UPS/FEDEX delivers a package without a signature and you discover damaged goods inside, contact your local UPS/FEDEX offi ce and refuse the shipment due to damage. When there is concealed damage discovered after you accept delivery, contact the AMSOIL Distribu-tion Center for instructions immediately. NOTE: If you accept delivery of visibly-damaged merchandise, you accept all responsibility for fi ling claims with UPS/FEDEX.

Other Shipments (LTL or Common Carrier)1. When damaged goods are received, have the driver make note of the

damage on the delivery receipt before you sign it.2. Call the carrier’s local offi ce and request an inspection of the damaged

Customers can request lift gate service at the time of ordering if they do not have a method of unloading large orders, 30- and 55-gallon drums or totes. Not all carriers offer this service, so when requesting it please allow additional time for delivery. If lift gate service is requested, the consignee pays all costs for the additional service and will be charged the actual cost. Because these costs can vary depending upon the carrier used, it is recom-mended to contact the AMSOIL Distribution Center from which the order will be shipped prior to placing the order to obtain these costs.

Call Before Delivery Requests (LTL or Common Carriers)At the time of order, customers can request to be contacted prior to deliv-ery. A daytime phone number must be provided, with instructions to call before delivery. The carrier will contact the customer prior to delivery to set up a delivery time. If this service is requested, the consignee pays all costs for the additional service and will be charged the actual cost. Because these costs can vary depending upon the carrier used, it is recommended to con-tact the AMSOIL Distribution Center from which the order will be shipped prior to placing the order to obtain these costs.

Shipping to APO and FPO Military Post BoxesAll APO/FPO orders are shipped from the AMSOIL Distribution Center in Superior, Wis. The United States Postal Service (USPS) will not accept AM-SOIL Fuel Additives or Aerosol containers for shipment, or any product marked with “**” in this price list. Your order will be charged actual freight costs which will be charged at the time the order is shipped. If you require insurance on your order, please specify so at the time you place your order. These additional charges will be applied at the time of shipping.

Delays and Special Circumstances when Shipping to APO/FPO AddressesDue to the challenging nature of distributing packages to these addresses, delays may be experienced which are beyond the control of AMSOIL INC. AMSOIL will ship your order with tracking information requested and/or a signature required for delivery.

Delays can be expected from time-to-time due to airline and customs in-spections. AMSOIL makes every attempt to ship and track these orders to its military customers. However, once APO/FPO orders have been tendered for shipment to the USPS, AMSOIL loses control of routing and may or may not be notifi ed of damages or non-deliveries. Customs may refuse and/or destroy shipments at their discretion.

AMSOIL CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE DECISIONS AND CANNOT REPLACE DESTROYED ORDERS.

Backorders and InvoicesSome orders may require multiple shipments due to products placed on backorder status. Backordered items will be shipped separately. This is also true for items that are not stocked at all distribution centers. These items may also be shipped from an alternate distribution center.

In such situations, each shipment will receive a separate invoice and credit card charge. Credit cards will not be charged until items ship. Although separate invoices are issued, totals for freight charges, taxes and discounts are calculated based upon the whole order.

Backorders receive priority status and will be shipped as soon as they be-come available. When items on an order are in backorder status and the order is to be picked up at a distribution center, the backordered items can be shipped to a destination of your choosing at the actual freight charge. Questions regarding the status of backordered items should be directed to the appropriate AMSOIL Distribution Center Manager.
