1.Overview

AMT Mobile is a practical tool for mechanics, supervisors and ground teams which will improve

efficiency and accuracy of maintenance related tasks and the workforce. It operates disconnected from

the network and provides an overview of fleet performance and access to info across all sites. Users

can record defects, enter time sheets and perform inspections from most mobile platforms, in real time.

This training manual is designed to provide guidance and practical assistance in implementing and

performing the daily functions of various users in the AMT Mobile - Supervisor App.

1.1 AMT Overview

AMT is a comprehensive asset management system consisting of integrated modules as depicted

below.

The functionality covered by this training manual is identified by the “AMT Mobile” section in the

diagram. “AMT Mobile” can be used to implement processes from Execution and Work Finalization.

1.2 AMT Mobile Architecture

AMT Mobile is an optional module which is available to a customer if it has been purchased. If you do

not currently have access to this module, but you would like to use it, then please contact the AMT

Administrator for more information.

AMT Mobile is compatible with most smartphones, tablets and laptops running modern browsers

including Internet Explorer 8+, Chrome, Firefox 10+ and Safari; access to the internet is a requirement

as it does not work offline.

- AMT version 8.9 software or above, is required to run AMT Mobile

1.3 Login and Navigation

1.3.1 Login

To access AMT Mobile, navigate to your desktop or home screen of your mobile device, double click on

the relevant web browser and type the AMT Mobile link, provided by iSolutions, in the address bar.

When the login screen appears, enter your user name and password then click the Login button. User

login details will be the same as those used to log into the AMT Client

The user has the option to stay logged in by selecting

- If you don’t have an AMT username and password, please contact your AMT System Administrator.

AMT Mobile is now ready to use.

1.3.2 Navigation

The home screen will display a suit of Apps which are highly configurable. The user can navigate to the

relevant App by simply tapping on the relevant block.

By tapping on the block it will enter the relevant App with its unique functionality. Most Apps will prompt

the user for further information such as a Site or a Login.

1.3.2.1 Customers

In the home screen click on the Customers block:

This App is designed to be used as a PSSR Tool for the Sales Team and Account Managers in the field.

Identifies component and service sales opportunities per customer per equipment

Shows Equipment details and health

Historic Sales and market share

1.3.2.2 Timesheets

In the home screen click on the Timesheet block:

This App is designed to give users the ability to enter and review daily timesheets from anywhere.

Employees can record all time allocations

Employees can record Time Against Work Orders

Provides a summary of the week’s work

Employees can confirm their timesheets

In the home screen click on the Supervisor block:

This App is designed to give Supervisors the ability to review and approve timesheets for a specific

team.

Supervisors can confirm Employee timesheets

Supervisor can view and edit daily timesheets for specific Employees

1.3.2.4 Workbench

In the home screen click on the Workbench block:

This App is designed to capture new defects, record actual usages & measurements.

A user can view and create defects against an equipment on Site

Data visible in a Workbench is specific to a Site

When Measurements are entered, AMT automatically interprets the Rating/Reading and applies

a colour code based on Alert Level

1.3.2.5 Inspections

In the home screen click on the Inspections block:

This App is designed to record defects, complete inspections and enter measurements directly in the

field.

Inspections are based on check lists which are easily created and modified within AMT

The Inspection Configuration defines the “nodes” that make up an Inspection

There are 4 different modes for displaying inspection steps to users

2.Process

2.1 Objectives

The objectives of using the Supervisor App are:

Supervisors can quickly approve Employee time Supervisors can monitor the work that Employees are performing Supervisors can review Productive & Non-Productive Employee time

2.5 Process Diagram

This App is designed to give Supervisors the ability to review and edit employee timesheets daily. The process which users will need to follow, when reviewing employee timesheets in AMT Mobile, is shown below;

This Process will need to be followed by all Supervisors, registered on AMT Mobile, who are authorised

to review & Confirm Employee Timesheets. The setup of the Supervisors will need to be maintained by

the AMT Administrator. The setup is not documented in this training manual; AMT Administrators should

refer to the “AMT Mobile – Administration” documentation for more information.

4.Procedures

This App is designed to give Supervisors the ability to review and approve timesheets for site specific

employees.

4.1 Log In

Prior to using the Supervisor App, the Supervisors should be setup and each Supervisor will have a Username & Password.

Step 1: In the home screen click on the Supervisor block:

Step 2: The Supervisor must login:

A Supervisor is an Employee setup with a special Pin; if the user is unsure of this information, contact

the AMT Administrator.

4.2 Select a Site

The Supervisor will be able to review all work performed by employees on a particular site.

Step 1: The Supervisor must nominate a site:

At the moment the only option available is Timesheet Confirmation, however this functionality will

expand in the future. The user should select “Timesheet Confirmation”.

4.3 Employee Time Confirmation

The Supervisor Confirmation screen lists the Employee’s time allocations by day, for a particular site.

This enables the Supervisor to quickly scroll through the days and confirm Employee timesheets by

clicking on the “Confirmed” tickbox.

The supervisor can filter for specific Employees by selecting

This allows the Supervisor to view and edit daily timesheets for specific Employees and “Confirm” the

respective timesheets in the detailed view.
