BOOK Book designed for the 2010 Greater Los Angeles MFA exhibition catalogue and California State University Long Beach Open Studios artist catalogue.

Designed layout and page systems for both catalogues requiring distinct systems that could also live cohesively, alongside each other in the same book unit.

PRINTProgram designed for the 2010 Tubular! art exhibition presented as part of the Pacific Design Center’s Design Loves Art series.

Exhibition program design includes artist profiles, exhibition catalogue, and an article written by curator Doug Harvey. Program folds from a tabloid page to a 5.5 inch square brochure.

We created this community garden in order to invite those living in the 5th street neighborhood to come out of their homes and engage their community in relationship. We hope to be catalysts for relationship through the love of Christ that is in us.

Our youth ministry seeks to create a space where youth can encounter God as they wrestle through the complexities of what it means to be a

teenager. Through discipleship, the ministry seeks to create a safe place where the kids can bring all of their fears, questions, and doubts, while

learning about God's love for them and others inside and outside the walls of the church building.

Pray for the youth of Long Beach and for the youth in our church. • Volunteer on Sunday mornings at the 11am gathering. • Disciple a kid one-on-one or at our mid-week Community Group. • Lead a Community Group for the kids in our church and kids in Long Beach who do not attend church. • Participate in our partnership with Young Life- a ministry targeted to reaching the youth of the city.

This group exists to create a space for women inside and outside the garden church to discover their identity in Christ and to promote spiritual growth and personal transformation. We hope to take this to the women and families in need all over the city of Long Beach

As a local church, our mission is clear we want to partner with God in the renewal of our city. We do this as individuals and we do this corporately. Pray for the 5th Street Community. • Each Sunday from 1-4pm the garden is open to everyone. Come garden and hang out with the neighbors. • Participate in the Oct 31st Harvest Party. • Pick a time in the week that works best for you and open up the garden for the neighbors. • Join our 5th Street Community Garden Lead team.

CONCEPT ACTIVATIONCharged with engaging consumers in Nike’s (RED) partnership, the virtual world was brought to life in a photo experience replicating the current Nike (RED) ad campaign. The experience featured custom shoe-lace sculptures made to resemble the advertisement’s “cat’s cradel” soccer ball and Africa models, and put the consumer in the shoes of their favorite professional athlete Didier Drogba.

Photos were seeded digitally via web download and email blasts, capturuing participant information digitally, and creating a scalable expereince that was replicated nationwide.

PROJECT BRANDINGVisual center design for a year-long community-based initiative. Branding design included identity systems, imagery, character design, apparel, and renovation design. Produced and managed all multi-media content creation. Project fueled by student engagement and participation in all aspects of the initiative including design, content creation, event production, and programming.
