ARRTEKK® 1295Cationic (+) Asphalt Emulsifier for Micro-Surfacing
BETTER MICRO-SURFACING DURABILITY AND MIX CONTROL
ArrTekk 1295 is an asphalt emulsifier chemical used to produce high-performing micro-surfacing emulsions conforming to typical
specifications, including the International Slurry Surfacing Association’s A143: Recommended Performance Guideline for Micro-
Surfacing. A preventive maintenance application, micro-surfacing provides an aesthetically pleasing, skid-resistant surface that
restores the pavement profile and seals the underlying pavement, protecting it from deterioration.
TECHNICAL DATA SHEET
APPLICATIONS FEATURES
EASY MIXING AND LAY-DOWN IN EXTREME CONDITIONS
Plenty of mix time with warm pavement, aggregate and air temperatures
QUICKER TRAFFIC RETURN TIME IN COOL CONDITIONSAND DURING NIGHT TIME PAVING
Easy control of chemical break in cooler weather and at night for sooner traffi c return and greater production rates
FASTER CURING
Chemical break squeezes water out of the system faster for less aggregate loss upon traffi c return
EMBEDDED ADHESION PROMOTER TECHNOLOGY
Stronger asphalt-to-aggregate chemical adhesion provides a more durable and longer-lasting application with less raveling and 6-day Wet-Track Abrasion loss
