FISIP USU ENGLISH CLUB established on June, 3rd 2009 after some FISIP USU students competed in USU English Debating Championship 2009 and got second runner up (4th winner). Those students finally initiated to spread this euphoria by idea of making English shelter in Faculty of Social Science and Politic USU. The initiators were Lintang Simorangkir, Andini Nur Bahri, and Sri Rahayu. This idea stated and getting assistant from Mr. Faisal Eriza, S.Sos.,MSP (finally became our advisor). In July, 29th 2009, FISIP USU ENGLISH CLUB had been legalized by FISIP USU Dean as The Official Student Activity Unit (UKM), under license of Student Affair, FISIP USU (SK Dekan FISIP USU Nomor 32A/H5.2.1.9/KMS/2009)

Committee arranges in multi-major format to represent all parties in our college. Every people can be committee as long as it must be active FISIP USU Student and has been committing during agreed-time period. In order to make effective and efficient organization, FISIP USU annually always makes committee’s regeneration. It aims to create renewable generation every year through sustainable learning and program. During 2009-2011, FISIP USU ENGLISH CLUB has had 3 presidencies. Graduated from Japanese Literature on 2008 and Communication FISIP USU on 2010, she is active girl who considers that change starts from youth action. She is also initiator and earning 4th Winner USU EDC 2009. She was President of FISIP USU ENGLISH CLUB during 2009-2010 period. This sweet woman who can afford speak Japanese and English fluently won Australia-Indonesia Youth Exchange Program (AIYEP) in (2009) and International Youth Champ (2009), granted by Ministry of Youth & Sport Republic Indonesia, IMT-GT Student Exchange Program Thailand, granted by North Sumatra University (2008).Now, she’s currently working as Manager and full time teacher at Big A English Course, An English institute which was established by herself.

Graduated from Tax Administration in 2011,

this sweet girl was the team member of FISIP who

grabbed 4th Winner in USU English Debating

Championship 2009 and 1st Winner Mahasiswa

Berprestasi FISIP USU 2010. She was dedicated student

with high-rated compliance and cooperative.

She’s currently working in one big

multinational corporate and planning to continue her

expertise in financial accounting specialization.

This man‘s currently being student in Public Administration FISIP USU and starting his research to accomplish final project. He was President of FISIP USU ENGLISH CLUB during 2010-2011 time period. This casual man who can afford speak English and starting to learn France currently grabbed 1st Winner Pemilihan Mahasiswa Berprestasi FISIP USU 2011, 3rd Winner Pemilihan Mahasiswa Berprestasi USU 2011, 1st Winner USU English Debating Championship 2010 and USU Delegation in IMT-GT Varsity Carnival PSU Thailand (2010).

Now, after accomplished his non-profit serving as Branch Coordinator for Indonesia Future Leader (IFL) Branch Medan, he started to build his career as Management Trainee at WOM Finance.

Hot Maringan Samosir, S.Sos is a living debater. He has been contributing in Parliamentary English Debating Society since 2008 and started by being member of USU Society of Debating. All determination and huge passion about debating, critical analysis and public speaking has achieved many awards, personally and team. He critized that many debaters should be growth and developed in their club and tranfering debate euphoria for juniors. He initiated for establishing many debate clubs, including FISIP USU English Club where all founder members were FISIP Team in USU English Debating Championship, where he acted as Chief of Adjudicator.Currently, He is working in Government City of Binjai as Trading Staff Affair, also being researcher, trainer, coach, and adjudicator.
