An OV-10 Model, a tribute to the Aussies, Kiwis and the 19th TASS G’day Tom, My name is Robert Knox, I was a Helicopter Aircrewman on Black Hawks and Iroquois in the Australian Army for 25 years. Loved my job. Now, in my middle age, my hobby is flying radio-controlled model Warbirds. My most recent customisation was of a 19th TASS OV10. I chose this particular aircraft because about 38 RAAF pilots served with the 19th TASS, including at least 1 navy pilot and one New Zealand (Kiwi) pilot that I’m aware of. The customisation took me about 3 months to complete. Flying the model is a real treat because the design of the Bronco, and its handling characteristics are just wonderful.
