PAINTINGS:

Rough tenderness and wild naivety

My work is situated at the border between abstraction and representa-tion.Through the medium of painting, I experiment all the possiblities to give free rein to the sensations, the drives, the expressions as the en-ergy which we can spread by attending a musical event.

The music is very important for me in my work and in particular the punk or post-punk music. The violence or the enjoyment, which she can loosen, the experimental work in the instrumental but also the state of mind conveyed by these artists influence my work and guide me in my intentions. From Captain Beefheart to the musical scene of 90’s in Chicago, by the l o-fi, and the independent music band discovered at the street corner, all this bands accompany my work production.

The bestiality occupies at the moment a big part of my themes, going as much to a naive and uninhibited direction as to a more philosophic way of reflexion about the place of the animal in our consciousness and our societies today.
