The elevated trunk is held by the rear limbswhich are placed under the belly. This motionis produced by the contraction of the dorsal andcaudal rump muscles, as well as by the extensi-on of the tarsal joints by the sural muscles.

A lépés hossza 1,30–1,80 méter.A mozgás impulzusa a hátulsó végtagból indulki, amely az azonos oldali elülső végtagot mint-egy fél lépéshosszal megelőzi. A farok mindig azalátámasztást végző végtag irányába lendül.Fejét az elülső végtag felemelésekor biccenti, ésaz ellenkező oldal irányába fordítja.A diagonális kétláb-alátámasztást ellenkezőoldali diagonális kétláb- alátámasztás váltja fel.
140. The step
The length of the step is 1.30—1.80 m.The impulse of the motion starts from the pelviclimb which overtakes the ipsilateral thoraciclimb by half a step-length. The tail alwaysswings in the direction of the limb being in thephase of support. When the forelimb is lifted thehorse nicks the head and turns the nose towardthe opposite direction.The diagonal two-limb support alternates bet-ween the two sides.

Der Kopf nickt beimAbheben der Schultergliedmaße und wendetsich in die gegenseitige Richtung.Die diagonale zweibeinige Belastung einer Kör-perseite wird von der diagonalen zweibeinigenBelastung der anderen Körperseite abgelöst.

At graceful head and swan-neck carriage thelimbs are slightly bent. The hip, knee and tarsaljoints are also slightly bent. The animal toddlesforward and hits with the thoracic limbs, thetail is elevated.

Bei graziler Kopfhaltung (Schwanenhalshaltung)sind die Schultergliedmaßen leicht gebeugt. DieHüft-, Knie- und Sprunggelenke der Beckenglied-maßen, die den ganzen Körper aufrecht halten,sind gleichermaßen leicht gebeugt.Das Tier ,,trippelt” und schlägt mit seinen Schul-tergliedmaßen ,,hackend” nach vorn, wobei esden Schweif anhebt.

A kecses fejtartás, a hattyúnyaktartás mellett azelülső végtagok enyhén behajlanak. Az egésztestet tartó hátulsó végtagok csípő-, térd- és csánk-ízületei ugyancsak enyhén behajlanak.Az állat előrefelé tipeg, elülső végtagjait előre-sújtva ,,vág”, a farok felemelkedik.
