Ancient Mesopotamian

houses were called ziggurats.

Mesopotamian Houses

The houses were made out of mud bricks then let to dry under the hot

sun.

The houses were roughly 90 m2 and

5-6m tall.

The people that lived in the house were civilians, merchants,

craftsman and civil servants.

Egyptian Houses

Ancient Egyptian houses were made out of mud brick.

The ancient Egyptian houses were called Pers.

The Egyptians houses were

about the size of a mansion.

These mansions had about 25-30

rooms almost like a castle.

Greek Houses

Sun dried mud bricks with terra cotta roofs

sometimes tiled floors. They were also made of stone and clay.

There wasn't a name for the

greek houses so there just called greek homes.

The houses were about one or two stories high.

The greek houses sometimes have wooden roofs instead of terra cotta.

Canadian houses are sometime

called duplexes, apartments or

single detached homes.

Canadian houses are made of wood, stone, metal, glass, and

sometimes marble.

Modern Canada

The people that live in

these houses are mostly civilians.

Sometimes duplex houses can cost almost be millions of dollars depending on were

you live.
