ANCIENT 'PINDO-RAMA'. TODAY'S BRAZIL -THE RAMAYANA

CONNECT AND A BIT ABOUT BRAZILIAN INSCRIPTIONS & THEIR LINK TO 'INDUS VALLEY SCRIPT'

The native name for Brazilis PindoRama and though itis said that Pindo Ramatranslates as 'Land ofPalms' from Tupi, anancient American-Indianlanguage, there is muchevidence that indicatesthat Sri Rama, the God-King of Ayodhya wasworshipped in that part ofthe world.

In the Vedic tradition'pinda' (•••••) is a verymeaningful word. It oftenappears in mantras  andsutras . For example theUpanashid says 'yatha pinditatha bramhand a '. 'As is thebody so is the universe', orthe body is a smallerversion of the entire

    universe.

In Sanskrit, 'pinda' is the'body', it is the body as thereflection of the 'world'. Itis the body as the mirror ofthe whole universe.Thesignificance of the termPinda according to

Upanasids is 'an organisedwhole, a unity ofdiversities'. Pindarama is'Rama's Universe' or'Rama as someone who isthe universe'.

In the Krittivasi Ramayana,Ahiravan (Ahiravan orMahiravan), brother ofRavana, was a rakshasawho secretly carried awayRama and his brotherLakshmana to the nether-world, consulted hisfriends and decided tosacrifice the life of the twodivine brothers at the altarof his chosen deity, goddess Mahamaya. ButHanuman saved their lifeby killing Ahiravan and hisarmy. The nether-world or

'patala' is often identifiedas the South American land-mass.

In the Valmiki Ramayana, after the abduction of Sita,Sugreeva - the 'vanara'commander, orders hischiefs to 'go round theearth and fetch all themonkey champions on

earth'. The chiefs go tovarious mountains, rivers, oceans, and forests andmotivate all monkeys toreach Sugreeva at once'.Valmiki Ramayana,Kishkinda Kand, Chapter37).

    Once the 'vanaras'assimilate, Sugreeva gives

detailed instructions aboutthe route that each of thesearch parties is to take insearch of the abductedSita. The route-map is sodetailed, and mentionsmountains and rivers, seasand oceans and the traveltime involved, that it is

absurd to deduct thatSugreeva was onlydetailing regions withinIndia or had no knowledgeof the world beyond. Referto Chapters 37, 40, 41, 42and 43 of the KishkindaKand. That the reach Peruis substantiated by themention of the ancientParacas Trident of Peru inthe Ramayana. For more onthis click here.

Archaeology and ancientreliefs indicate thatRamayana, Sri Rama,Hanuman, Goddess Sitaetc. were not unknown inBrazil, Honduras, Peru,Bolivia, Guatemala andMexico.

There is archaeologicalsupport to the fact thatHanuman was not unknownin that part of the world.

An ancient sculpture of the 'Howler MonkeyGod'

of Copan, Honduros is linked to the VedicHanuman

The ancient name of Brazil, that is Pindorama, is alsorelated to an ancient tribeof Brazil by the name'RamaRama'. TheRamaRama were a Tupispeaking group ofconsiderable size living in

the Brazilian Amazonianarea in a place calledRondonia. When theSpanish rubber-collector'spoured into Rondonia in1880s they brought deathand disease to the tribe sothat it is now extinct as aculture.

Ancient civilizations suchas the Maori's of NewZealand also had a tribe bythe name RamaRama. There is a place by thename RamaRama in NewZealand which is 40 kmaway from the city ofAuckland.

Researching the path ofancient sea-farers fromIndia, Frank Joseph states

in his book 'Archaeological Discoveries of Ancient America', "A generalpopulation spread, fromIndia into Pacific andbeyond the shores of SouthAmerica, may begin withnative Maori oral history inNew Zealand. Folktradition recounts that 161generations ago

(approximately 1500 BC),Maori ancestors migrateden-masse from a hotcountry called Iriha in thewake of war.... The Maoris'ancient 'Iriha' is an obviousvariation of Vrihia, anancient name for India...".

    Joseph adds, "...archaeological digs

Not far from Lake Titicacathe Incan's celebrated theInti Rayami festival (alsocalled Rama-Sitva) whichresearchers have linked

Writing about theinscriptions, he furtheradds," I have myselfdiscovered some queerlinks between thesestrange letters of oldBrazil, and charactersfound in Tibet and VedicHindostan". (Page 118).

For example theinscriptions on the Ingastone of Brazil have beencompared to RongoRongo(the ancient script ofEaster island located in theSouth Pacific ocean) whichitself bears a close

    resemblance to the IndusValley script.

The Inga Stone Inscription of Brazilis similar to the RongoRongo- the

ancient scriptof Easter Island (Pascoa) which is

similar to Indus valley Script.See table below.

A comparison of Easter Island Script (column II,IV, VI...)

and that of Indus Valley (columns I,III, V...) showthat they are identical.

ANCIENT SUMERIAN TEMPLES & CITIES - THE 'INDRA' AND SANSKRIT CONNECTION

The most ancient cityaccording to Sumerianinscriptions is Eridu. It isthe city from which theSumerian civilization issaid to haveemerged. Worship wascentral to the Sumeriancivilization. Amazingly, inSanskrit the word'Iradh' (••••) of which Eridu

    might be a distortion,means 'worship'.

The many island cultureswithin this vast trianglespeak Polynesianlanguages, whichmainstream scholars sayultimately derive from theProto-Austronesianlanguage spoken inSoutheast Asia 5,000 yearsago. That the motherlanguage of all languagesin ancient South East Asiawas Sanskrit is wellknown.

The Maoris of New Zealandspeak of their originalhomeland as Hawaiki,

as Iriha, as Atia, asTawhiti, as Uru, and asMataora.

The Hawaiki was regardedas a 'tapu' place, i.e,'sacred', 'spiritual' and'unknown', the word 'tapu'probably related to theSanskrit 'tap' (•••), i.e.,'penance' or 'asceticism'.

As they travelled from theiroriginal mother- land thePolynesians named manyof their newer homes alsoas Hawaiki. For example, what later came to beknown as New Zealandwas also given the nameHawaiki-Tahutahu by some

    branches of the Polynesianrace.

The people of Rarotongan, the most populous islandwithin the Cook Islandsgroup and a part of NewZealand today, referred totheir original homeland as'Atia-te-varinga-nui. Wetrack here the origins ofthe names 'Atia-te-varinga-nui' and 'Iriha'.

In his research work 'TheOrigin of the Maori- theHidden Homeland of theMaori and its ProbableLocation' in the Journal ofthe Polynesian Society,Volume 32, 1923,researcher Elsdon Best

traces the name 'Iriha' to India.

He states, "We now cometo the name of Irihia, andhere encounter twointeresting facts. In thefirst place we know that anold Sanskrit name for India was Vrihia, and no Maoricould pronounce this nameotherwise than as Irihia or

Wirihia ....vrihi (••••••) is aSanskrit name for rice, hence 'vrihia' bears ameaning equivalent to thename Atia-te-varinga-nu".

The Rarotongan name 'Atia-te-varinga-nu' is translatedby them in their locallanguage as the 'be-riced'place - 'atia' meaning

    Another name of the

original homeland that thePolynesians mentionedwas 'Uru' (•••), anotherSanskrit word meaning'great', vast, or 'spacious'.

Dr. E. S. Cragihill Handydescribes the story ofPolynesian culture as "amere index to Indianhistory." And now for somearchaeological collateral. The hypothesis of Indiancontact with thePolynesians isstrengthened by thediscovery of the EasterIsland scripts whichclosely resemble thescripts of the Indus Valleycivilization.

few writers explored therelationships which existbetween the languages andcultures of India and South-East Asia and those ofPolynesia. Many of thesewriters argued that theoriginal home of thePolynesian people was

India, and many of themconsidered that there wasa clear relationshipbetween the Polynesianlanguage and Sanskrit, oneof the ancient languages ofIndia."

Adele Schafer statesfurther, "...the mostimportant contribution tothis subject was made byEdward Tregear, who in1891 published his ‘Maori-Polynesian ComparativeDictionary’. This Maoridictionary quotes parallelwords to be found in otherPolynesian languages, andsometimes also quotesparallel words to be foundin Asian languages such asMalayan and Sanskrit.

Tregear believed that theMaori language was mainlyderived from Sanskrit.... Hediscusses this theory in hisbook ‘The Aryan Maori’,published in 1885, and inan article in the‘Transactions of the NewZealand Institute’, vol. 20,p. 400 ff".

It is said that 'Wakulla' is aTimucuan (NativeAmerican) word, and it isunlikely that its meaning

will ever be known.Wikipedia says, 'Wakulla'may contain the word 'kala'which signified a 'spring ofwater' in some NativeAmerican Indian dialects'.This is where the Sanskritconnection is evident.

    'Wakulla' Springs, Tallahasee, Florida

Lets look at the wordthrough the Sanskrit lens.In Sanskrit 'v' (•) meanswater. 'Kulya' (••••••)means a 'stream', a 'canal'or a 'water body'. Kulini(••••••) means a 'river'.

Talahasee has a similarmeaning. In Sanskrit,'tala' (••) again means awater body or pond and'talak' means 'spring'.'Ulhas' (••••••) means

joyful, cause movement, jump, shine forth or come

THE WORD 'ELEPHANT', ITS SANSKRIT SOURCE, AND THE CRESPI ARTIFACT COLLECTION OF PERU AND ECUADOR

English etymologicaldictionaries likeetymonline.com trace thesource of the word'elephant' to 'ibhah' (••),which is a Sanskrit wordmeaning 'elephant'. Theelephant-keeper is knownas 'ibhapa' (•••).

German linguist KurtSchildmann (1909-2005), inhis work, 'The SchildmannDecipherment', stated thathis research on ancientinscriptions discovered inPeru and Ecuador hadrevealed that they weresimilar to ancient IndusValley' inscriptions. He haddeciphered the inscriptions

    with the help of sanskrit.

As mentioned in theprevious post Schildmannwas particularly struck byone artifact from the'Crespi Artifact Collection. This ancient artifact ispyramid shaped and hasthe inscription of anelephant and the sun on

A slight tweaking of thethree words 'pil', 'alepi' and'hosti', to 'pIt' (•••),'Alepa' (••••) and'hasti' (•••••), - changes themeaning to 'golden','smeared', 'elephant'. InSanskrit 'pIt' (•••) means'yellow' or 'gold', 'alepa'means 'smeared', and'hasti' is 'elephant'. Theinscription would thenread, 'gold smearedelephant' or 'the goldenelephant' - which probablyalso explains the 'sun'inscribed on the topsection of the artifact.

SANSKRIT DECODES ANCIENT GLYPH FROM SOUTH AMERICA - THE SRI GANESHA CONNECT

Many scholars have putforth the view that theundeciphered Indus valleyinscriptions are a script ofthe Sanskrit language. Inhis work, now labeled'SchildmannDecipherment', Germanlinguist Kurt Schildmann (1909-2005), said that hisstudy of ancientinscriptions discovered inthe caves of Peru and theUnited States shows thatthey are similar to ancientIndus Valley 'Sanskrit',suggesting that seafarers

from India may havereached the Americasthousands of years ago. Hecalled the 'language 'Paleo-Sanskrit'. Scroll down tothe end to see the tables ofinscriptions and the soundseach inscription represents.

Schildmann described theIndus civilization as a

forerunner of other worldcivilizations. While doingresearch on the Crespiartifact collection ofCuenca, Peru, Schildmanndiscovered Sanskrit ininscriptions found there, aswell as in the Burrowscave in southern Illinois,USA. Russel Burrows, aretired colonel of the U.S.

armed forces, hadaccidentally discoveredthe cave on April 2, 1982.

Schildmann had noticedthe similarity between thelanguage of theinscriptions on the Crespiartifact in Peru and the

Burrows' cave after havingdeciphered the inscriptionsin the Indus Valley. He alsosaid that an icon found inthe Burrows' depicted the'wisdom of the Indus Valleyculture of India'.

But first a look at theCuenca inscription.Schildmann was struck bythe drawing of an elephanton top of a 'pyramid', withthree lines of a legend inthe artifact found in Peru.

Crespi artifact collection of Cuenca, in Perudecoded by Kurt Schildmann

Schildman deciphered thefirst row as 'pil', which helinked to the Akkadianword for 'elephant'. Now,the Akkadian dictionarysays that the exact wordfor 'elephant' is 'pilu', 'piru'or 'peru'. The femaleelephant in Sanskrit isknown as 'pillaka' (•••••••)

even today. The ancientSanskrit word for 'elephant'is 'pilla' (•••••). Also whatis interesting is that aprominent name for SriGanesha, the Vedicelephant-god, in Tamil is'Pillai'.

Sri Ganesha - the VedicElephant God

is also known as Pillai inDravadian Languages.

In Sanskrit also 'pilla' (•••••)means 'elephant

Researcher A. K. Narainstates that the words pallu, pella, and pell in theDravidian family oflanguages signify 'tooth ortusk', also 'elephant toothor tusk'.

A variant of 'pilu' inAkkadian, as mentionedabove is 'peru'. Is itpossible that the country

name 'Peru' is linked to the'elephant' - assuming thatit was known by the samename thousands of yearsback. Again, 'peru' (••••)also means 'goldenmountain' in Sanskrit, andthat it refers to thepyramid shape of theartifact is anotherpossibility.

Schildmann decoded thesecond word as 'alepi' andsaid that 'alepi' is Semiticfor 'elephant'. Though ifone were to decode thesecond line in reverseorder it still reads as'peala'. The 'third line is

decoded as 'hosti' which isthe same as Sanskrit'hasti' (•••••) meaning'elephant'.

Professor Kurt Schildmannwork called 'TheDecipherment' hasunfortunately disappearedfrom publication, howevera copy of his work in hisown handwriting stillexists and efforts are beingmade to reveal thissuppressed information sothat recognition may begiven to this profound workin the study of Paleolithicculture worldwide.

Mount Yamantau is the highest mountain in theSouthern Urals. Though thename means 'evil' mountain in the local Bashkirlanguage, its name seems to bederived from Sanskrit 'yamya' (•••••) which means

'southern'.It could also be named after the Vedic Lord Yama, whoemerges as 'Jima' in the Iranian legends

In the book, 'On thePossible Location of theHoly Hara and MeruMountain', the author S.Zharnikova states that, "...precisely in the watershedsect ion of North ern Urals

(Russia), to th is day, there aremany place names of intr iguingsimi lar i ty of Indo Iranian word s:Harino, Harov a, HarinaMountain, Harinsko ye,Harinsk aya, Harinov skaya:Mandara, Mandarova, Mandra;Ripino , Ripink a, Ripa (andReipie Mountain). Ju st as

The author states thatthese 'Indo-Iranian' namesare of 'unknown origin'. Buteach one of these names

are words of the Sanskritlanguage and thereforeeasily explained, some ofthem are even mentionedas proper nouns in theIndian scriptures. The 18thand 19th century authoroften traced the names tothe ancient Iranianlanguage called Avestanbut never ventured furtherback in history with the

    help of Sanskrit.

'Hari' (•••) is Sanskrit for'god' and 'hari' (••••••)means 'captivating'. God isreferred to as 'hara' inSanskrit in the sense asthe one who 'captivates'.

'Mandara' (••••••) means'heaven'. 'Mandara' is the

name of the mountain thatappears in the 'SamudraManthan' episode in theHindu Puranas, where itwas used as a churning rodto churn the ocean of milk.Vishnu's serpent, Vasuki, offered to serve as therope pulled on one side bya team of asuras, and onthe other, by a team of

    devas.

'Ropa' (••• ) is Sanskrit for'act of raising', and'ropita' (•••••) means 'thatwhich is elevated' andtherefore indicates a'mountain'.

The river names areinteresting too. First of allthere is a 'Sindosa' river inthe Urals and is obviouslylinked to the 'Sindh' ofIndia. The 'Sindh' river orthe Indus gets its namefrom Lord 'Indra'. In theUrals too, there exist rivernames such as Indola andIndomanka.

Then there are the 'Striga'and the 'Svaga'. They areat once a reminder of theRiver Ganga of India, oreven of the Volga.. InSanskrit 'ganga' means'swift-goer'.

Russian historian andLinguist Nikolai Trubetzkoy(1890-1938), in his lectures

at the University of Vienna, traced the origins of thename 'Volga' to the Slavic'Jilga', which he said, incourse of time changed tothe name 'Volga'.

Roman Jakobson, Russianlinguist and literarytheorist, quoted NikolaiTrubetzkoy's research

thus, "In primitive easternSlavic, un-rounded frontvowels changed intorounded back vowelsbefore a tauto-syllabic 'l',so that 'jilga' must havechanged to julga; the initial'j' was lost before roundedvowels in eastern Slavic, and the initial u acquiredan obligatory 'v'. Thus the

form 'vulga' arose, and theshort 'u' changed in the12th–13th centuries into'o'. So through a longseries of changes Jilgabecame Volga".

Jilga is a close cognate ofthe Sanskrit 'jalaga',

    'jala' (••) is water, 'ga'stems from the Sanskrit'gam' (•••) and indicates'movement' - so that 'julga'means 'flowing water'.

The name of the river'Pana' is explained by theSanskrit 'pana' (•••) whichmeans a 'drink'. The name'Arza' is explained by theword 'aarsha' (••••) whichmeans 'speech of thesages'; in fact the Vedasare also known as 'Aarsha'.The name 'Tara' isexplained by Sanskrit'tara' (••) which means'fluid'.

The name Hvarzentaseems to be derived fromthe Sanskrit

'varasha' (•••••) meaning'rain'. Another river inRussia by the name'Varzina' seems to have thesame etymological source.

The present day rivernames may also have theirsource in Sanskrit.

The present day river names of Eastern Europe.Sukhona, Dvina, Vyatka, Kama and Pecchoraprobably have Sanskrit roots.

According to the MaxVasmer's EtymologicalDictionary, the name'Sukhona' originates fromRussian and most likelymeans "a river with a dry(hard) bottom". If theoperative word here is'dry', then 'Sukhona'derives from the Sanskrit'shushka' (•••••) from

which the Hindi word'sukha' derives. MaxVasmer (186-1962) was aRussian born Germanlinguist.

In his works, Max Vasmerstated that the toponym'Dvina' clearly cannot stem

from a language of the Uralregion, its origin is unclearand may have possiblyoriginated from an Indo-European root word whichused to mean river orstream. The word mayhence be related to theSanskrit root word'dhaav' (••••) which means'to flow'.

The etymology of 'Vytaka'is completely unknown. InSanskrit 'Vyatiga' (•••••••)means 'pass by'. TheSanskrit origins of 'Kama'are well known andexplains the name of theriver Kama. Finally thename 'Pecchora'- inSanskrit'Picchora' (••••••••) means

a 'pipe' and the Hindi'picchakari' (water-gun)derives from 'picchora'.

The Avestan 'Aredvi'meaning fertile' has itssource in Sanskrit'artava' (•••••) meaning'fertile', 'sura' (••••) isSanskrit for 'goddess' and

hence the equivalent of theAvestan 'powerful','anahita' from Sanskrit 'ana-ahita' (•• -•••••) 'that whichis 'proper' - 'ahita' (•••••)means 'improper', theprefix 'ana' reverses themeaning.

In Sanskrit 'good activity'may be translated as 'su-

karya' (•• - •••••) and maytherefore be the source ofthe Avestan 'Hukairya' - theSanskrit 's' distorts to 'h'exactly as it does in thename 'Sindhu' to 'Hindu'!

By the same logic 'Hara',which in Avestan legend isthe source all waters of theworld, may indeed be

'sara' (••) which is Sanskritfor 'spring', or' fluid' or'water-body'.

The sacred plant 'haoma'grows on Hara, whichindeed then has to be theVedic 'soma' (•••) - theelixir of the gods. Anotherpossibility is that the word'hara' may have passed oninto Hebrew and Avestanfrom Sanskrit 'hara'meaning 'god'.For more onthis click here.

The Zoroastrian texts saythat Hara is free of the'devas' - who are regardedas 'false gods' and 'evilspirits'. As the separationof the Zoroastrianism from

the Vedas progressed, the'devas' began to beregarded as 'evil' and the'asura' became the objectof reverence. Hence thename Ahura Mazda - thehighest spirit of worship inZoroastrianism. Once againthe 'h' of Ahura may be

    read as 's'.

Researchers and explorerstrying to locate the original'Meru' are unlikely to find itgeographically. The nameis not mythical, it ishowever the interpretationthat is incorrect. The'meru' of the Vedas is areference to the earth'saxis, and there is muchmore to the concept ofMeru.

The 4th century BCE Indianmathematician Pingaladescribed Mount Meru as apyramid of numbers thatcan be added togetherdiagonally into the well-known series {1, 1, 2, 3, 5,8, 13, 21 ... ∞} now named

after Fabionacci foundthroughout nature asproportions of growth.

The Fibonacci Sequence isthe series of numberswhere the next number isfound by adding up the twonumbers before it. Forexample, the 3 in theseries is found by adding

the two numbers before it(1+2). If we take a numberin the series and divide itby the number preceding it,we find that as weprogress down the serieswe reach the perfect valueof phi= 1.6180339... and soon.

Pingala's 'Prastara-Meru' or 'Steps of Meru'.The triangle was later adopted byFibonacci in his work in Mathematicsfrom the original works of Pingala, the ancient Indian mathematician.

Pingala indicated throughhis 'Prastara Meru' that allsolar system periods fit theFibonacci series. His MeruPyramid concept links all

the planets and the Suninto a harmonious systemrepresented by theFibonacci series.

Another another Indianmathematician, Bhaskarapresented a triangulararray of the binomialcoefficients as 'KhandaMeru', later adopted by

Pascal and today known asPascal's Triangle.

Pascal's Triangle is derived fromthe 'Khanda-Meru' of the

    ancient Indian mathematicianBhaskaracharya
