Mark your calendar now for Canada’s Largest One Day Cheerleading Competition onSaturday, May 14, 2005, at Paramount Canada’s Wonderland, on stage, at Kingswood MusicTheatre.• For the category order, visit www.powercheerleading.com one week prior to the event.

Each team will be listed in their respective category. Please note that there will be no changes permitted with the team order or category order for any reason. Your team will compete in your assigned category, in the assigned time-period. This event will follow PCA Competition standards PCA ALL MUSIC format.

• Teams are NOT required to include a cheer in their routines. Teams that cheer will not be penalized, but will only have it scored as part of the over-all category.

• Teams are responsible for providing their own music and a person to start and stop the CD or audio tape.

• Music must be provided in CD or cassette format.• When using CD format for music, please do not use re-writable CDs.• Timing starts at the first obvious start of music, movement or cheering and stops upon

the obvious completion. Entry and exit are not considered.• Routines exceeding the time limit will receive a 3 point deduction.• The competition floor is 54’ x 42’ and is covered with gym mats.• There is no penalty for stepping off the matted area.The full PCA competition rule set and Score Sheet are at thisaddress: www.powercheerleading.com/Competitions/RULES/PCARulesPage.html

SCHOOL TEAMSELIGIBILITY: Each competitor must be enrolled atthe school he/she is competing for, at the time ofthe competition.1. Youth/Primary: Grades 6 and under,

girls and boys.2. Junior/ Middle: Grades 8 and under,

girls and boys.3. High School Small Varsity: Teams

with 16 or less athletes and may include 1 male. All students must be enrolled in Grades 9-12 inclusive.

4. High School Large Varsity: Teams with 17 or more athletes and may include 1 male. All students must be enrolled in Grades 9-12 inclusive.

5. High School Small Co-ed: Unlimited team size with 4 or less males, all studentsmust be in Grades 9-12 inclusive.

6. High School Large Co-ed: Unlimited team size, 5 or more males, all students must be in Grades 9-12 inclusive.

ALL-STAR TEAMSELIGIBILITY: Club/All-Star team members must beenrolled in school at the time of the competition.1. Youth "Mini”: May be offered at some

events. All members must be in grade 4 or under. 2. Youth All-Star: Unlimited team size, may

include any number of males, all students must be in Grade 6 and under.

3. Junior All-Star: Unlimited team size, may include any number of males, all students must be in Grade 8 and under.

4. Senior All-Star: Unlimited team size and members can attend different schools. Large and Small divisions may be offered dependent onregistrations.

5. Co-ed All-Star: Unlimited team size and members can attend different schools. Large and Small divisions may be offered dependent onregistrations.

REGULAR RETAIL PRICE $56.21 each (7-59 yrs)CHEERLEADER’S TICKETS AND FEESOrder $25 tickets for your Cheerleading Competitors. If your squad is notcompeting, order $23 Park tickets. See attached form.

When you introduce a new participating team, that did notcompete in the 2004 competition, you will be eligible to win

FREE WONDERLAND tickets. If you win, each member ofyour team will receive a One Day Pay-One-Price Passport,

for the 2005 season!

Teams are asked to sign in at the Park between 9:00–10:00 a.m. At thistime they will receive their starting positions. The Competition will begin at10:00 a.m. Each team will perform its routine once. Please clear up anyquestions you might have, before the Competition.

Matted floor area and sound equipment will be available for practice. ThePCA floor marshall will supervise mat use and sound checks. The practice area isavailable to every competing team. All teams are responsible for providing acued audio tape/CD that is labeled with their team/school name.

The final schedule / revisions will be posted at Kingswood on the morningof the competition. If your team is unable to compete, please call PCA prior tonoon on Friday, May 13 at 1-800-567-7221.

There will be a double panel of judges used, such that 2 divisions can runalternately.

Please register on time to help us establish clear start times for teams.

START TIMES:The competition will start at 10:00 a.m. Division and team performance

times will be posted by Thursday, May 12th on line, at this website:www.powercheerleading.com – then click on COMPETITIONS

NOTE:There will be a designated practice area. When you arrive at the theatre, signup to receive your practice time.

Also please note that unauthorized behind the scenes areas at theKingswood Music Theatre (including the lawn seating) are notpermitted to be used as practice areas for safety reasons.

Each Wonderland Ticket can earn$3.50 FOR YOUR CHEERLEADING TEAM

Order a block of $23 Park tickets for Saturday May 14th to sell to familyand friends. Take advantage of selling the tickets for $26.50 each, and earn$3.50 on each ticket for your fundraising purposes. You do not need to competein the Cheerleading competition to sell Wonderland tickets to your school.

• Bring up to 2 coaches FREE of charge on May 14th• PLUS, for every 25 tickets sold, you will receive 1 complimentary

2005 ticket to the Park. Further information about this BONUS will beincluded with your ticket package.

• Each 1st, 2nd & 3rd placing team will win a trophy• Every competing team in EACH of the divisions (based upon entries)

will receive a commemorative award at the Competition. • There will be a draw for one fully paid camp tuition to the Power

Cheerleading Camp at UWO in July. (Register for the draw at the sign-intable at Kingswood Music Theatre.)
