34 Boydville - (601 S. QUEEN ST.) Late Georgian-style mansion (c. 1812) built by Elisha Boyd (member of the VA House of Delegates; officer of the 4th VA Regiment, War of 1812.) Hosts special events.

35 Gen. Adam Stephen House - (309 E . JOHN ST.) Stone house, built c. 1772- 1789, home of Gen. Adam Stephen, founder of Martinsburg. Open Saturdays from 10am to 5pm and Sundays from 12 to 5pm from May 1 through October 31. 304-267-4434

36 Triple Brick Museum - (313 E . JOHN ST.) c. 1874, a 3-apartment structure adjacent to the Adam Stephen house; used to house visiting B&O RR employees; now a museum. Open Saturdays from 10am to 5pm and Sundays from 12 to 5pm from May 1 through October 31.

37 Roundhouse - (10 0 L IBERT Y ST.) Visible from Caperton Station. The B&O RR’s first engine/machine shop; built c. 1840’s; target of Stonewall Jackson’s campaigns; current structures rebuilt c. 1860’s; the only iron framed roundhouse still standing in the US. 40 Nation’s first electric-powered mill (KILBOURNE / INTERWOVEN MILLS c.1890- 1976) (WINCHESTER AND W. JOHN ST.) Became the nation’s largest sock manufacturer.

41 Courthouse (10 0 W. K ING ST.) Built 1855; occupied by soldiers during the Civil War who destroyedrecordsandlefttheirgraffitiin courthouse books.
