This specification covers the size, color, pattern, and type used on labels applied to unlabeled syringes, filled by the users or their agents, to identify the drug content. In addition, tapes and labels correspond to the published 2004 JCAHO Standard MM.4.30 for appropriately labeling all medications with drug name, strength, amount, expiration date, expiration time, and initials of the person administering the medication. The bottom suction cups also allow it to be used as a stand-alone dispenser. The dispenser can hold up to 15 different formats and its unique design allows for easy replacement of tapes or labels.
