The world is filled with icky, sticky, blobby, and odd animals. Some you might want to cuddle, but others are downright disgusting! How many of these strange, unusual, gross, and cool animals can you identify in this trivia quiz? Match the description of the animal with the animal’s name and photo. Put the corresponding letter next to the number. (Be sure to check page 2 for additional animal names and photos.) Score your answers at the end of the quiz! ANIMAL TRIVIA QUIZ 1. _____This creature has 22 sensitive appendages on its face that are so good at detecting vibrations they can tell when earthquakes are coming. 2. _____This creature rolls other animals’ poop into one giant ball of food that contains all the nutrients it needs. 3. _____Once it hatches from its egg that has been buried up to three feet deep in sand, this baby animal has to dig its way out. Thankfully it can fly as soon as it’s hatched as there’s no mama bird around to take care of it. 4. _____This tiny primate has eyes the size of its brain! It can leap 40 times its body length. 5. _____This creature lives on the ocean floor and can grow up to 10 feet long. It’s armed with very sharp teeth and can attack with enough speed to slice a fish in half! 6. _____This sea creature was thought to be extinct for many years, until one was caught in 1938.
