Animation Settings• Build Options:

• Build options are choices in which you can choose to animate by:

• By the whole frame at once (All at Once) OR

• Don’t Build (just show it normally) OR

• By Various levels of headings

• Headings can be arranged by any one of 5 levels

• First level• Second level

• Third level,

• and so on

level, for example,• your animation settings will

apply to each section started by a first

• or second level heading.

• Third,

• fourth or

• fifth level headings

• underneath it will be animated as a block.

Animation Settings• The next choice is the

type of transition you want to apply to the image or text.

• Scroll up or down the list and choose the effect you want.

• Remember, this effect applies to the WHOLE frame.

• You cannot apply two effects to one frame.

• You choose to have these effects built:• By paragraph

• By word OR

• By letter

Animation Settings• The next setting

chooses the sounds linked to the frame actions.

• You may chose the preset ones such as CAMERA or LASER OR

• You can use OTHER to browse to any sound file on your hard drive.

• Note: This file must be saved in the .WAV format.

• Any sound file can be changed to fit this format using a program such as COOLEDIT.

Animation Settings• Two animation

settings remain:

• Build this object: This will tell Powerpoint in what order you want the selected frame built.

• After Build Step: This will allow you to select an effect to occur AFTER a step in an animation has occurred.

accept your settings.

• To view the results of your work:

• Choose the View menu

• Then choose the Slide Show Option

3. Type in some explanatory text and have it appear built by 1rst Level Paragraph with a Fly from Left effect, By Letter, and a Laser Sound

4. Save it in your home folder as PPTSIXD
