FEEL THE SOFTNESS! Breast prostheses are made of silicone with a film covering of polyurethane. The advantages of an Anita Care silicone prosthesis: The silicone compounds are developed by experts in our own laboratories, and their quality is constantly optimised. A special feature of the Anita Care breast prosthesis range is the light silicone formulation with the brand name “Soft Lite.®” SoftLite combines a pleasant softness and natural appearance with an advantageous weight (up to 30 % lighter) in comparison to prostheses with full weight compensation. Supersoft® is 35 % lighter, even softer and the feeling resembles very closely that of a women 50 and over. Women world wide are effected by breast cancer, they have to make difficult choices and are uncertain of the outcome, regardless of age, race, nation and country. Fitting Mastectomy bras and prostheses is a very individualised process, and it is essential that a an Anita certified Care consultant will treat you with sensitivity and spend the time to show and explain all the choices makes all the difference in a personal atmosphere in one of the Anita care Boutiques. The Anita consultant fitter will know which breast forms and mastectomy bras are better suited for your special needs. A correctly fitting bra is important. 85 % of women generally wear the wrong size bra and our bodies change consistently, so it is important to be fitted properly and to know your right size. More so important after mastectomy , as it is essential that the patient is fitted correctly, with the right product to suit and fit her special needs and conditions, each patient is an individual and needs to be treated so for an optimal consultation and fitting, she can feeling confident and secure, she looks normal from her outward appearance.
A good fitting bra should fit like a 2nd skin, infact if you are well fitted, you will not even notice the difference between the normal breast and the prosthesis side.
