1. There are two Typography Alignment Compositions using the Sans Serif file.

1. There are four Typography Alignment Compositions using the Serif file.

• The Typography Alignment Compositions reproduce the designs shown on the assignment handout.

• You were to Scale and Reposition each individual letter to match the designs on the assignment handout.

• Areas and Letters should be filled with color to match the designs on the assignment handout.

• Things that will be assessed are accuracy, craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Leading is line spacing. It's purpose is to allow the designer to alter the density of blocks of text.

Kerning allows you to manually adjust the space between any two characters.

We use Visual Hierarchy to control what the viewer looks at first, then second, then third, etc.

We use all the Principles and Elements of Design when creating a page composition.

All Images Must Be CMYK

All the images that you wish to place into an InDesign file must be changed from RGB Color Mode to CMYK Color Mode.

Files for Commercial Printing: Image Sizes

Image Resolution All the images you wish to place into an InDesign file must be 300 PPI.

Image DimensionsAll the images you wish to place into an InDesign file should be rescaled to the size they will appear in the InDesign Layout.

Source FilesAll the Graphic Elements placed into InDesign must be packaged with the InDesign file in the same folder.

Final Project

Produce a multi-page document in InDesign that shows and describes the development of 2 or 3 of your ANM 104 assignments. You will need to:

Scan your concept and compositional thumbnails and gridded drawings.

Properly Prep your Illustrator files for placement in InDesign.

Properly Prep your Photoshop files for placement in InDesign.

Write and format the description.
