Now that you have completed your Bronze Award it is time to try
fiction from different genres and/or non-fiction books on a
wide-range of subjects. (Use the key words to help you find the
right book for you.)

When you are ready to move on to the Gold Award you will be

THE SILVER CERTIFICATE
For your Silver Certificate you have to read TEN books from the
School Library and write about each one.
Each fiction book must be an example of a particular genre and
each non-fiction book should cover a different subject. (Some books
may fit into two or more categories but they will only count as one
book.) There are nineteen categories listed below from which you
must choose ten in any order you like. After you have read each
book, complete the relevant task sheet. (For non-fiction see the
back cover.)
