Pearls are the traditional gift for a 30th anniversary, and Im a stickler for tradition! So as I celebrate 30 years of laughter, Id like to share with you this pearl of wisdom from the brilliant comedian/musician Victor Borge (on whom my mother had a serious crush):Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.Its this aspect of laughter that has made the past 30 years so rewarding for me the delightful people to whom laughter has brought me close: the warm and witty retailers I count among my dear friends, the amazing sales reps who have cheered me on and helped me grow this business over 30 years, the many manufacturers some of them competitors if youll excuse the term who have become cherished friends, and my creative, hardworking, fabulous co-workers at Anne Taintor! And of course the customers those wonderful women (and occasional men) who write to tell me that the laughter my captions inspired helped them through a tough time or gave them a new perspective on an old situation who tell me that every holiday they and their girlfriends (or their sisters or their daughters) exchange Anne Taintor gifts and laugh together who complain about how I made their coffee come out through their noses.

As Ive reflected over the past year on what it has meant to be in this business for 30 years, it became clear how I wanted to commemorate this anniversary. Our 30 Years of Laughter Scarf could just as easily be called 30 Years of Friendship. For it I chose my favorite images of women laughing together, and I tied them together with our trademark blue/green palette.

termsOrder Minimums: Minimum opening order $150, and minimum reorder is $100. A handling charge of $7.50 will be added to all orders under the minimum.

Payment Terms: All opening orders must be prepaid by check or paid by credit card (MC/Visa/AmEx). Submit a completed credit application to request Net 30 terms on reorders. A service charge of 1.5% (18% per annum) will be applied on past due balances. Returned checks will be assessed a $25.00 service charge. Outstanding invoices may accrue finance, collection, court, and/or attorneys fees.

Delivery: Shipping is billed at cost, and our standard shipping method is via UPS Ground. Backorders over $50 will be shipped within 60 days of original ship date, and customer is responsible for additional freight charges. Backorders unable to be filled during this time and backorders under $50 will be cancelled.

Claims & Cancellations: All claims must be made within 5 days of receipt of merchandise. Return for credit accepted if resulting from shipping error, or if product is received damaged. No returns accepted for product that has been labeled and/or is shop worn. No returns accepted without prior authorization from Anne Taintor, Inc.
