International Children’s Care is in great need of many items for the container we are sending to our children’s village in the Congo. We are looking for all sorts of things... soccer balls, sewing machines, twin size sheets, towels, etc... We are hoping to load the container and send it by mid-December. If you are interested in helping, please visit our website at www.forhiskids.org or see the needs list on bulletin board #3. Flower Schedule: Thank you so much for your commitments to our flower calendar. At present time about 70 percent of the dates for 2014 have been filled. Currently no one has signed up for any of the Sabbath’s in April or July. Please be reminded that you can sign up using the Friendship Card. The cost of sponsoring Sabbath flowers is $25.00.

Fiji Mission 2014: The dates of the mission trip to Fiji next summerhave been confirmed and will be June 24-July 8th. We will bebuilding a church, conducting VBS, and carrying out any otherwork where the Lord leads. Handel’s Messiah: On December 6 at 7:00 p.m. Bravo! VancouverChorale and Chamber Orchestra will present Handel’s Messiah in ourSanctuary. This beautiful concert is a Christmas gift to our commu-nity from CAA. There will be a pre-concert reception, catered byChuck’s Produce, in the CAA Forum starting at 6:00 p.m. The concertis free, but you will need to get a ticket at www.itickets.com.

Sharing Hope with the Homeless: On Friday, December 6, ourTeen Girls’ Bible Study Group is hosting their Second AnnualOutreach at Esther Short Park. Last year they distributed 30 bundlesof gloves/mittens, hats, socks and blankets to the homeless in thepark and hope to do at least that many again, but they need yourhelp. Please bring any of the above items (also hand-warmers andindividuals soups) to the Church Office by December 2. If you havequestions, call Nita Yuros (687-4556) or Judy Thompson (573-7564).

W.H.O needs you! This year, under the direction of Andrew Ikeda,we will host the week of January 12-19. There is still room to sign upfor a shift or two. Why not get a friend to join you? The shifts are6:00-10:00 p.m.; 10:00 p.m.-2:00 a.m.; 2:00-6:00 a.m.; 6:00-9:00 a.m.Thank you for your continued support of this ministry.

Big Lake Winter Weekend: Our annual winter church getaway toBig Lake is scheduled for the weekend of January 24-26.
