Bishwa Seva Pratishthan is an organization imparting various training

program, conducting Awareness Programs, Camps, and Social activities to change

the world, country and the society by doing extraordinary work. In this year 2018-

19, Bishwa Seva Pratishthan had done a lot of community development programs

in different field i.e. Health, Education, Awareness etc.

Over View of the Year 2018-19

There is much more social works done by this organization. Few of them

are mentioned below.

Abhijan - 2018

“Abhijan”, an awareness rally, a unique program which is organized by

Bishwa Seva Pratishthan along with Bargaon ITI Group of Odisha State Bharat

Scouts & Guides. This is a month long awareness program organized with the

themes of Voluntary Blood Donation, Environment Protection, Diabetes Free

Society, Road Safety and National Integration in 30 districts of Odisha State. The

Scouts & Guides students had participated actively in the rally and aware people

on road safety rules by doing street plays, demonstrate on use of helmet, seat

belt etc. They also motivate the people of Odisha to voluntarily donate blood for

the needy people of the society. Total 50 nos. of tribal girls & boys with

supporting staff were participated in the rally. The scouts & guides student spread

the message of National Integration and also aware people how to protect

environment & how to make diabetes free society by doing street plays, stage

shows on them.

Voluntary Blood Donation Camp

Bishwa Seva Pratishthan has been created a remarkable position in the field

of Voluntary Blood Donation. This year Bishwa Seva Pratishthan had been

organized 4 to 5 Voluntary Blood Donation camps in different places of

Sundargarh District with the support of Youth Red Cross and Bargaon ITI Group of

Odisha State Bharat Scouts & Guides. More than 250 unit’s blood collected by the

Blood Bank of Sundargarh and Rourkela.

Road Safety Awareness Campaign

Every year Bishwa Seva Pratishthan organizes Road Safety

Awareness Campaign, Seminars along with Bargaon ITI Group of Odisha

State Bharat Scouts & Guides and Regional Transport Office,

Sundargarh to create awareness among the people of society the

importance of Road Safety.

Computer Education to ST/SC Boys & Girls

Bishwa Seva Pratishthan organization is situated in tribal area of

Sundargarh District. So many poor & tribal boys & girls are studying in the Center

with a very low amount from the market price. Bishwa Seva Pratishthan has been

imparting computer training to the tribal students of this area in a very low

amount. Bishwa Seva Pratishthan is offering DCA, PGDCA and Basic Computer

Knowledge course in a very low cost. In this year 254 nos. of tribal students had

successfully completed their computer training.

Environment Protection “We won’t have a society if we destroy the environment.”

Environmental protection is the practice of protecting the natural

environment by individuals, organizations and governments. Its objectives are to

conserve natural resources and the existing natural environment and, where

possible, to repair damage and reverse trends. Every year Bishwa Seva

Pratishthatn organize Environment Protection Campaign with the collaboration of

Youth Hostels Association of India, Lions Club, Bargaon ITI Group of Odisha State

Bharat Scouts & Guides and conduct awareness rally, tree plantation, plastic free

awareness rally etc. This year Bishwa Seva Pratishthan had been organized tree

plantation program in different areas of Sundaragrh District. More 1100 trees

planted by the members of the organization & the scouts & guides students.

Swachha Bharat Mission

Swachh Bharat Mission or Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or Clean India Mission is

a country-wide campaign initiated by the Government of India to celebrate the

150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. This year

Bishwa Seva Pratishthan had also taken an initiative to observe the Birth

Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi by Swachha Bharat Mission in each and every

villages of Bargaon Block with the collaboration of Bargaon ITI Group of Odisha

State Bharat Scouts & Guides. The main objectives of the Mission is to eradicate

of manual scavenging, generating awareness and bringing about a behavior

change regarding sanitation practices, and augmentation of capacity at the local

level. The Scouts & guides students participated in the mission and aware people

by distributing leaflets and through street plays, short drama etc.
