The ISL Polyglot

Dear ISL Families,

Good news abounds for ISL!

On March 7th the Jefferson Parish School Board approved ISL’s

Jefferson Parish location for the 2012-13 academic school year.

ISL-JP will operate out of the Paul E. Emenes Special Service

Center at 822 S Clearview Parkway in Elmwood. We are excited

and believe that the location will be an asset in serving Jefferson

Parish families.

Along with the announcement of the new ISL-JP facility, I would

like to announce the new members of ISL’s academic leadership team:

Nobert Estrella – ISL-JP Principal

Adierah Berger – ISL-JP Assistant Principal

Melanie Tennyson – Camp & Olivier St. Principal

Ann Argo – Camp St. Assistant Principal

Jesse Watson – Camp St. Assistant Principal

Claudia Lopez – Olivier St. Assistant Principal

I hope you all have a chance to congratulate and welcome them to their new positions and

campuses.

As the 2012-13 school year comes to an end, Budget Planning Meetings are taking place

to ensure that our schools are adequately staffed and properly serviced. We want to

encourage the participation of the ISL community through this process. All meetings can

be found on our website’s calendar, posted in each campus’ lobby, in the weekly Tidbits,

and in our monthly newsletter, the Polyglot. Our school is stronger when all of us

participate in the processes that lead us forward as an organization.

We want to make sure to thank all of you for selecting ISL as your child’s learning

institution. Your children are daily reminders of why we do what we do. We hold our

students and families dear and look forward to making the ISL experience better and

available to more families throughout the greater metro area.

Sincerely,

Sean Wilson
