79TH ANNUAL OSF HEALTHCARE SAINT ANTHONY MEDICAL CENTER THEODOR L ANG

OSF MAY DAY MEDICAL CONFERENCEMay Day Conference HistoryTheodor Lang, MD, a staff radiologist at what is now OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center, founded the May Day Conference. His goal was to improve patient care by gathering physicians from across the region for a day of education and fellowship under one tent. While no longer under a tent, we continue to pursue Dr. Lang’s goal. OSF HealthCare is proud to continue the tradition of the May Day Medical Conference.

Raymond E. Hoffmann Jr., MD, Memorial LectureThis year’s lecture, “Medicine and the Media,” is in honor of Dr. Hoffman and will be presented by his friend and colleague, Prerna Mona Khanna, MD. Dr. Hoffman was a skilled surgeon and leader at OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center and was instrumental in developing the OSF Northern Region EMS Paramedic Education Program. He served in multiple state and national positions, culminating in his election as president of the Illinois State Medical Society. He was a remarkable mentor, role model, beloved physician and esteemed colleague.

The OSF HealthCare May Day Medical Conference is designed to provide an educational environment for health care providers, with a focus on identified practice gaps. The goal is that this education will result in the improvement of quality of care, treatment, services, safety and outcomes for patients.

The target audience for this conference is physicians, residents, medical students, advanced practice professionals, nursing staff and allied health professionals.

This conference may not be audited.
