5. The due date for payment in relation to livestock purchases effected through Elders, for approved

account holders is 10 days from the date of purchase (unless otherwise advised by Elders). The due date

for payment in relation to non account holders is cash or credit card payable on the day of sale.

7. All lots are offered for sale as registerable or registered with their relevant breed association unless

otherwise stated on that horses specific lot details. Horses that are registerable will be offered with

relevant paperwork to register at the buyers expense for all sales upto $5000 ex GST. All Sales over

$5000 the Vendor will cover the expense of relevant registration for any applicable lot offered, these

papers will be provided to the purchaser within 90 days of purchase date, subject to normal breed

association processing times.

8. All horses unless otherwise stated are 5 panel negative by parentage or testing for 5 panel genetic

disorders HYPP, HERDA, GBED, MH, PSSM1

9. All horses that are Registered will be issued with a signed transfer form and breed papers on the day

once payment has been received or sale is credited to an approved Elders account.

10. All Lots will be available for inspected from 9am Saturday 27th of April at the Powranna Elders Selling

Complex.

“Thowra” Is an exceptional Stud colt and future show, stud and

performance prospect. His sire is now gelded (due to owner health) so he is

the last chance to obtain a foal from this sire. Sire’s sire is the well known

imp performance stallion “Ladies Smokey Dude”. Thowra combines a

wealth of imported champion performance pedigree Top and Bottom, with

both Sire & Dam producing multiple Australian Champions in the AQHA .

Quiet, well handled to lead, tie, float, pick up feet, rug, Clip, and dual

registration papers lodged and paid with AQHA & PHAA. He is a dunalino,

“Brew” is a stud book TB gelding by our successful sire Flash Expectations.

His Dam Hoping was also a Multi race winning mare in Tas. Brew is for sale

as a show/performance prospect only, and will not be registered with the

ASB. Brew is a very solid and well grown young gelding, quiet to handle,

enjoys people, and is expected to be a very big horse on maturity, suited to

the hunter ring. Brew is well handled to lunge, tie, pick up feet, wash, float,

is accustomed to stabling and rugging.

Cruiser is a kind, quiet and sweet filly, who is no fuss to do anything with.

She is eligible for performance registration with the AQHA, and is well

handled in her basic foundation. Cruiser would ideally suit rodeo time

events, barrel racing, or performance sports. Her dam has produced many

performance champions in campdrafting, breed Showing, Western

Pleasure, and Hacking. Cruiser is the last foal from the mare. We have

retained her older sister by Royalle Imprint in our stud program.

fillies have been retained in our stud. Christian’s dam is a mainland Novice

Winning campdraft mare, who is very quiet and has a great depth of ASH

breeding. His sire Royalle Imprint needs no introduction, with a long

successful career spanning many disciplines across Aus. Christian is an

outstanding future show and performance prospect for campdrafting, ASH

Leah is a cracking type black stock horse filly who is a 3rd generation

Ashgrove bred horse. Her Dam Ashover Omega’s Destiny was started and

shown by us for wins in campdrafting and Reining, before being sold onto a

performance home, and her sire Ashgrove Seekin the Bar is out of one of

our best producing mares “Isana Shiver” and by Aus Champion Hez Jus

Seekin T Be Cool. Seekin The bar is also placed in campdrafting and Reining.

Leah is a very quiet, sensible, easy to train filly, very well handled. Leah is

eligible for 1st cross ASH registration. This very calm minded filly would

excel in challenge, campdrafting, polocrosse or performance events.

“Eclipse” is a tall, calm and quiet Brown filly out of a tall 15.3hh 1st x QH

mare “Island Lilly” Lilly was bred by our family out of a race winning ASB TB

mare by a Studbook AQHA cutting bred QH stallion on King Island who was

successfully shown in the cutting pen as a younger horse, Lilly was started by

us under saddle and is now my mother in laws quiet dependable riding

horse. Eclipse’s sire Royalle Imprint needs no introduction, with a long

successful career spanning many disciplines across Aus. Eclipse is best suited

to a performance prospect for campdrafting, ASH breed Shows and

performance events. She is very Quiet and very well handled. Eclipse is

eligible for 1st cross ASH registration. Eclipse is 5 panel neg by parentage.

“Rumor” is a flashy marked chestnut filly from the Doc’s Spinifex

Granddaughter “Jazz Star”, Jazz is a studbook reg Paint Mare, who is also

eligible for studbook ASH upgrade. Jazz is a quiet, dependable riding mare

and has been a great producer for us, with us retaining two of her coloured

fillies. Rumor is a full sister to Ashover Que Sera, who we also offer for sale.

Rumor’s sire Royalle Imprint needs no introduction, with a long successful

career spanning many disciplines across Aus. Rumor is best suited to a

performance prospect for campdrafting, ASH breed Shows and performance

events. She is very Quiet, calm natured and very well handled. Rumor is

eligible for 1st cross ASH rego, but may be upgraded to studbook once her

“Bro” is a studbook Thoroughbred gelding from a very handy race winning

mare “my Little Sis” who retired from racing to become a quiet and tractable

riding mount for my husband’s family. Bro is by Flash Expectations, who is

about the quietest most gentle Thoroughbred your likely to ever meet. Bro

displays his parents quiet tractable nature, kind eye, and lovely personality.

Bro has a lot of growing to do yet, and is still very much the baby, he is tall

and elegant, with nice conformation. He will make a very nice riding and

show prospect under saddle later on, and displays a calm tractable

temperament that should see him excel in a ridden field. Bro is great to

catch, float, tie, lunge, rug, and handle.


Ashover Gunman

Gunman is a quiet and mild natured young gelding by the Heritage Stock

Horse stallion Penta Archie. Gunman is very quiet and calm natured, he is an

athletic young horse and a very nice mover. Gunman would suit a future in

hack, showing, campdraft, and be a great all rounder once started under

saddle. He has a good basic foundation in ground skills, he lunges, self loads

on float, and is good to handle, he can be stand offish to catch until he

knows you. Gunman is ready to begin his next phase of training to be a

ridden horse. Gunman is eligible for 1st cross ASH registration and Is 5 panel

neg by parentage.

“Vaquero” is a Silver bay Solid paint gelding by the multi national champion

Paint stallion “Justa Cowboy”, he is also a sibling to our Multi National

Champion in Led, Performance, and highly successful Campdraft and

challenge mare “Just Opal”. Vaquero has been tested to carry the Silver

Gene (taffy) which gives him his striking light colored mane and tail. Vaquero

is a very correct, strong and nice moving gelding, who is ready to start under

saddle and begin his ridden career. Vaquero is a very nice moving young

horse, and would suit the show or English disciplines, his dam is Aurum who

is a stud book TB race winning mare, and is also available to purchase in the

sale. Vaquero is 5 panel negative by parentage and is eligible for PHAA

registration.

“Rosie” is an impeccably bred young filly by the very successful AQHA

stallion Dualin Pepto, who was a challenge, campdraft, and two handed

cutting winner on the mainland, and has produced campdraft and challenge

winners and finalists. Rosie is out of one of our quietest and most versatile

mares who has a great depth of old working QH bloodlines. Rosie is a

compact, quiet and sweet filly, she is well handled, and has a very placid

nature. We have retained two filly’s from her dam in our program, so we

offer Rosie for sale. Rosie is 5 panel neg by parentage, and would suit any

competitive campdraft, Cowhorse, stockmans challenge, or performance

event. She can be registered studbook AQHA.



Ashover Que Sera

“Que Sera” is a very nicely put together young mare by our highly successful

and well known stallion Royalle Imprint, from the Docs Spinifex paint

granddaughter “Jazz Star”. Que Sera is a full sibling to “Ashover Rumor Has

It” who is also presented in this sale. Que Sera was kept initially to be a

future show and broodmare for us, however time restrains have prevented

us the time to start her for ourselves. This is a very quiet, laid back and easy

going filly, very much like her mother who is a horse anyone can ride. She is

ready to start under saddle and accepts everything that’s asked of her

without fuss. A genuine quiet young horse that has a bright future. Que Sera

is eligible for 1st cross ASH registration and is 5 panel neg.

DOB: 26/8/2008 EMH: 15.2HH Registrations: AQHA Q-65051 & Vic

Buckskins

“Rhanni” is a gorgeous buckskin mare who is a well credentialed herself as a

led show horse, winning multiple led QH futurity classes and Vic State

Champion yearling Buckskin. Rhanni was started under saddle by prior

owner, however xrays revealed calcifications in her knees, so she was retired

to stud and not continued with under saddle. Rhanni has bred two foals for

us, both Buckskins who sold at days old. Rhanni is a quiet no fuss

broodmare, easy to handle, do feet, catch and float. She is a great mother

and an excellent doer. Rhanni has been bred to “Little Destiny” for a Late

Dec 2019 foal, and will be preg tested prior to sale date. Foal will be eligible

for studbook AQHA registration. Rhanni is tested HYPP/HERDA/PSSM1 neg.

she has not been tested for GBED or MH.

DOB: 10/09/2007 EMH: 15.1 HH Registrations: PHAA 16034 &

AQHA Q-65346

“Denim” is a Dual studbook registered QH & Paint broodmare. Denim is a

sweet easy mare to handle or do anything with, she is not broken in, and has

had 7 foals. Her 2018 colt is Lot 1 in this Sale. Denim is a nice mix of

Cowhorse blood on her sire, and pleasure blood on her bottom side. Denim

is PTIF to cremello QH stallion “Sonitas War Leo” for a studbook QH

guaranteed palomino foal due 6/10/2019. Denim is a great mother and is a

fuss free mare to have around, she is great to catch, trim, handle, float and

do anything with. She is an asset to any breeding program looking for quality

performance bred studbook mares with a bonus of great colour and dual

registrations. Denim is 5 panel negative.

Aurum

ASB TB Mare

LOT 16.

DOB: 2008 EMH: 16.2 HH Registrations: ASB

“Aurum” is a big warmblood type TB broodmare, standing 16.2 and with

great bone and type. Aurum was a successful racehorse in Tasmania before

being purchased by us at the end of her race career to use for stud. Her first

foal was bred by AI and is “ashgrove Vaquero” who can be viewed in this

sale Lot 11. Her second foal was born last year by our AAA stallion and was a

bay appaloosa colt, he was sold as a weanling. Aurum wasn’t joined last

season, and was never ridden by us, having always been a broodmare, she's

a young and strong mare, and I feel would have a great future either as a

ridden or breeding mare. She is a great mother, falls pregnant without fuss,

and is great to handle and do anything with. She has not been ridden for 5

years.

ASH & AQHA Gelding

LOT 18.

DOB: 25/11/14 EMH: 15 HH Registrations: ASH & AQHA

“Hawk” is a brown stockhorse gelding by dual registered Royalle Imprint.

Hawk is out of the studbook QH mare Hollywood Spin N Sparkle, who was a

very handy all round mare, being successful across a wide range of

disciplines, including cutting, horse trails, eventing, pony club, reining and a

handy all rounder. Hawk is a smart and very agile young gelding, he is quick,

responsive, and very intelligent. Hawk will have had 30 days under saddle at

sale date, he has been exposed to dogs, cars, trails, ridden alone and in

company, and is a good walker and a game young horse. Hawk will require

an experienced and kind rider to bring along his education. He has a very soft

mouth and natural carriage. Hawk would excel at Polo, cattle events, and

challenging. Hawk is eligible for dual registration with ASH & AQHA. He is 5

panel negative by parentage.

Savannah Denim Or Lace

DOB: 06/11/2013 EMH: 14.3 + HH Registrations: AAA: 62923

“Denim” is a studbook registered appaloosa mare by Cayuse Mighty

WindStorm who is by world champion Mighty Storm Song IMP. Windstorm is

out of a Mr Jessie James (IMP world champion cutting horse) daughter, and

is himself a champion show horse and producer of campdraft, challenge and

show winners. Denim’s dam Awedorable is by the Imp World Champion “Mr

Aweluminary” and Awedorable herself is a multi Supreme & national

Champion Appaloosa. This filly carries a wealth of Appaloosa Bloodlines, and

is superbly put together. She had a back injury as a 3 year old, pulling several

musclesin her back slipping in the pdk, which resulted in her being spelled

for 18 months after therapist work. As a result she has not been started

under saddle, but no reason she couldn't be. Denim has not been tested for

PSSM.

Flash Expectations

LOT 20.

DOB: 01/10/2009 EMH: 16.2 HH Registrations: ASB TB

“Flash” is a quiet sweet tempered horse who only very recently was gelded

in order for him to go onto be a ridden horse. Flash was a successful race

horse for us, and has sired a dozen foals, all who had his lovely kind nature.

Flash has not been in ridden work for 4 years, and will only have had 3 weeks

work under saddle at sale date. Flash was ridden extensively in the bush,

trails and mustering back when he was being ridden, and is a quiet and well

mannered horse to ride. Flash is still very much an off the track TB and will

require an experienced rider to bring him along for a future discipline. Flash

is fine to run with other horses, and is used to running with yearlings and

geldings. Flash would make a very nice future show prospect under saddle.

RIDDEN HORSES

Pinto Gelding

LOT 19.

DOB: 10/01/2010 EMH: 14.2 HH Registrations: Tas Pinto

“Indi” is a Pinto X Arab X TB gelding. He is unregistered but can be registered with

Tas Pintos. Indi is a quiet kids horse who has been mostly ridden by my 13 year

old daughter. Indi has been very well trained and has a great education in leg aids,

flexion, circles, arena work, desensitized to bags, flags, tarps, whips, obstacles and

more. Hes attended cattle clinics, campdrafts, and had many outings with other

horses and alone without fuss. Indi is a nice responsive pony, he is forward

moving and soft mouthed, and gets off your legs easily. He is best suited to a

confident rider wanting to pony club, or compete in horse sports, drafting, or trail

ride. Indi loves to jump, and be busy, he enjoys peg events, and will have a go at

most anything that’s asked. Has been ridden by beginners but better suited to a

more capable rider due to his level of education, and him being a soft and

responsive horse. Videos can be seen on our page “Ashgrove Equestrian Services”.

Indi is a great natured horse, and adores carrots and apples! He self loads on float,

And is no trouble to handle in every way. Indi currently gets ridden

2-3 times a week by my daughter.

Ashmay Wyatts Destiny

AQHA Gelding

LOT 21.

DOB: 22/09/2014 EMH: 14.3+ HH Registrations: AQHA Q-81737

“Mack” is an attractive and smart young gelding by the well known

performance sire Doves Date With Destiny. Mack is 100% cutting bred, and

he's true to that heritage. Mack is a smart and athletic young gelding, he was

started under saddle by us last year, and then spelled until recently being

brought back into work to prep for sale. Mack is well established in his

foundation arena work, a good stop, turn around and circles, light mouth and

is responsive. He is good to catch, float, shoe, and rug. Mack has had a lot of

trail riding and exposure to bush, dogs, bikes and other things, however he is

a smart and athletic gelding and can try you at times. He is only suited to an

experienced rider. Mack is a horse who needs a job to do, he would excel as a

working horse, rodeo time events or in the cattle working events, and

requires a home where he will get the continued education to bring out his

best. Mack has been known to buck after a spell and is not recommended for

inexp riders. Mack is registered studbook AQHA.
