The institution facilitates enough provisions as per the need of students:
The faculties actively participate in the academic, personal, and psycho-social needs of the
students by mentoring, counseling, and giving them various academic advises.
The faculty maintains the counseling record of each student by mentioning her/his need and
support required. At the time of admission the faculties help the students by giving brief
description about the course and its scope in today’s competitive market. Also the students are
explained and counseled about the course structure which helps them in shaping their career.

(A)Student Feedback
The SBPCOE has a well-established feedback system which is operative from last eight
years. M/s. Think Quotient software Pvt. Limited is our service providers. The complete
feedback process is online and identity protected. The separate feedback committee is formed
for the same.
• This online process of feedback on all the teachers on all subjects handled is
captured once in a semester.
Feedback analysis process
The feedback collected is analyzed using a formula and this analysis indicates the
percentage score for each of the individuals. This analysis clearly indicates the parameters
in which a teacher is good or otherwise.
> The Management has decided to keep benchmark of 80%
> Those who secure 79% and below are considered for counselling
Evaluation Monitoring Guidelines
Policy and monitoring guideline for assessment and evaluation of the faculty performance
based on the ratings of student feedback
The faculty with low feedback (below threshold shall be deputed to appropriate
development programmes to improve their skills and teaching abilities with due
recommendation of the concerned HOD and approval of the Principal.
The Academic Monitoring Committee (AMC) & IQAC comprising of eminent
academicians who are currently in the process of proposing guidelines/duties and

(B) Parents Feedback
At last there was interactive session between parents and Principal Dr. P.D. Nemade and other
staff. Nearly 80 parents were present really, this parent’s meet was a successful event and it may
help in improvement of FE students’ performance in this semester to get maximum students in
outstanding grade.
Suggestions given by parents
1. According to parents, parent meet is the excellent way to communicate with parent-
teacher-student at a time which helps to improve performance of students through
discussion.
2. If student is absent tutor teacher/ class teacher calls the parent directly so parent also
knows about the presence of student in the college indirectly.
3. Performance letter send by college to every parent in every month helps to parent to
know about student’s class attendance and class test result.
4. Bus facility should provide on holiday for extra classes.
5. Call experts from academics and Industry.

BEST PRACTICES
[1]
Title:- “Tutor Teacher Scheme”
The Institute has a well established Tutor Teacher system. At institute level a
committee is constituted to conduct Tutor activities. As per the academic calendar of the
Institute planning of tutor activities is done at the beginning of every semester. The Tutor
activities include with academic and non academic issues in the college. The Tutor activities are
conducted as per the schedule prepared in the beginning. Included with Class coordinators,
individual teachers are assigned for one batch of students for personalized attention and
counseling. A tutor teacher takes care of the overall development of the each student till he/she
passes out from the Institute. Tutor meetings are arranged once in a week. If Tutor recognizes
any academic and nonacademic issue of the student, necessary solution is immediately obtained
with central meeting of higher authorities.
Goal:-
1. To solve academic issues of the students.
2. To solve non academic issues of the students.
3. To monitor overall progress of students during their graduation.
4. To motivate the students for different extracurricular activities.
The Context:-
1. The objective of Institute to implement Tutor ship scheme is to provide training and
guidance to undergraduate students in all disciplines, increase the participation of all
undergraduate students from first year engineering to final year engineering in the
different activities conducted by the Institute, which will be useful to them in their
life after graduation.
2. Another objective is to create healthy environment within the campus so students can
focus on their development rather than focusing on issues in institute.
Annual Quality Assurance Report of IQAC 2017-2018 Page 45
Practice:-
1. In the Tutor ship scheme a tutor teacher is assigned with a group one batch of the
students.
2. Tutor meeting is conducted once in a week.
3. Along with these activities, Tutor has to keep the academic record of the mentees
allotted to him in terms of their monthly attendance, academic results within campus
etc and inform the same to the parents with parent communication letters.
Evidence of success:-
1. Parents were happy to have a system where, the overall progress of their ward is
