CAREEREDGE
Members of staff at UCD Career Development Centre see enhancing personal attributes and constructs such as self-efficacy, self-confidence and self-esteem as core to the success of work undertaken.
We believe students in possession of heightened
self-confidence, self-efficacy and self-esteem
are more likely to actively engage in the student
experience through involvement in clubs,
societies and sports, to volunteer, to adopt
active and independent learning strategies,
to be confident in career and life decision
making and to develop skills and attributes
employers seek and which future leaders need.
