PROJECT BACKGROUND ALHASSAN BIN ALHETHEAM IN IRBID / JORDAN participated in a virtual exchange program hosted by Global Nomads Group. As part of the program, our school collaborated HUMANITIES III IN BROOKLYN / NYC to develop solutions to the challenges our communities face.

We decided to address the problem of [anti smoking ]. To do this, we created a [Awareness seminar and field work to combat smoking]

[ANTI SMOKING]Smoking is a major public health problem. This is because millions of people around the world die due to smoking every year. These deaths occur due to cancers and respiratory problems, strokes and lots of smoking-related diseases. Smoking also causes the largest number of cases of disability, pain and suffering caused by various diseases. This program helps to understand what makes smoking addictive, and to understand the reason for being harmful to the smoker and those who surrounded him . Raise public awareness of the community of the harmful effects of tobacco use, damages for exposure to tobacco smoke and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
