The best Stilo audio quality, available in any kind of car.

Intercom 2

Driver Extra Filter: fitted with a filter specifically developed by Stilo for use in the European Super 2000 series. It was also used by many drivers in the International rally Challenge 2010. background noises are greatly reduced allowing the driver to hear the co-driver’s voice at a higher volume while the co-driver hears the driver’s voice at a lower volume. It is not recommend to use the “Extra Filer” function when traveling in road Mode.

Emergency intercom:

Switching from one intercom to the other is possible using the “Intercom 1 - Intercom 2” switch, even during the special stage, without having to disconnect the helmet (Fig.1). The two systems do not share any components and their power suppy also is separated, this ensures that in case one of the two systems gets damaged, the other would work normally. ST-30 DES is designed to ensure that intercom communication is always preserved. Should a radio, mobile phone or camera component experience a

damage, the intercom will continue to work.

Telephone:

ST-30 DES can be wireless connected to any bluetooth mobile. In road mode, the connection is active, in Stage mode it is inactive. all functions can be managed by the dedicated switch (fig.1): on/off, pairing, call answer, last number called service, voice volume regulation.

Radio:

ST-30-DES can be connected by wire to the most common radio systems, according to the scheme in the instructions. active in road mode, inactive in Stage mode.

Camera:

an on board camera can be connected to directly record audio tracks from the intercom.

Music:

ST-30 DES can be connected to bluetooth MP3 readers or bluetooth mobile phones with MP3 function: ideal to chill out during long road sections.

How it works:

The bluetooth intercom (weight 66 gr) can be mounted in the car and connected to the helmet with cable (3) or it can be mounted directly to the helmet and connected with cable (2). Helmet attachment is the ideal solution in case of endurance races with driver changes as there is no cable connecting the helmet to the car and the drivers’ intercoms automatically disconnect and connect during the change. Car and crew chief telephones communicate continually. When the crew chief wants to talk, he presses the transmission key on the headset. The driver simply talks without the need to press a talk button.

Thanks to digital noise cancellation the crew chief does not hear background noises coming from the car even though the driver communication line is always active. Should the connection fail, the system would automatically reconnect.

The car telephone can be installed in any position: no wire connection to the

bluetooth intercom is required.

This unique cooling system feeds air from your cars fresh air system to both the top of the head and to the front of the face while at the same time helping to keep the inside of the visor clear.

The system works with the existing design of the helmet and does not require any drilling of the shell or modifications to the EPS.

There are four small holes molded into the top of every ST4 helmet. The Top air system fits over the forward two holes and extends down the front of the helmet and just under the top of the visor. air fed into the rear feed of the Top air is directed both to the top of the head and down over the face. a small deflector just inside the visor area directs air towards the visor and away from the eyes. old air flows out of the rear holes on the top of the helmet and from the bottom of the helmet significantly reducing the likelihood of Co2 buildup in the helmet.

Top air System can be fitted to all ST4 Formula and Wide gT model helmets. Thanks to the special adhesive used it can be removed and repositioned without damaging the helmet finish or most paint jobs simply by replacing the adhesive.

The Specifics

Essentially, the Eject system is an airbag that is inflated either by hand or by a Co2 cartridge when an EMT gets to you after an impact. The device is installed in your helmet. once installed you essentially forget about it until the dark day when you have an impact that threatens your spinal cord. The EMT will attach his/her inflator bulb or Co2 cartridge to the valve hanging out of the back of your helmet and pump up the bag, lifting the helmet off your head without any strain on your neck. because it lifts off the top of your head, the chance of further injury is drastically reduced.

How It Works

Using a Co2 inflator, a small air bladder with an attached hose is inflated to quickly push the helmet off, while emergency medical personnel safely support the patient’s neck.

Ideally, if a driver’s helmet is already equipped with Eject, EMS can immediately begin medical attention. In the event that Eject is not installed, EMS is provided with an additional option for proper removal of the helmet with the First responder Unit. both the Co2 and handheld inflators help to remove a helmet in a matter of seconds. The Eject bulb inflator is also available for purchase. although the bulb is a slower method of inflation than the Co2 inflator, it is best to keep a bulb on-hand for backup.

Pulling the helmet off a crash victim can, in seconds, cause further trauma to the neck and cervical spine resulting in serious, debilitating, and permanent damage. the Eject Helmet removal System was designed to aid in the safer removal of a helmet by pushing the helmet off the head after the upper spine has been immobilized.

the only removal device of its kind that provides medical caregivers at the track, or on the road, the ability to remove closed-face helmets quickly and safety without applying potentially damaging pressure or traction to the spine.

When you order your new Stilo helmet with Eject, we will neatly install the Eject system within the crown pad of the helmet and cover it with liner fabric… you won’t even know it is there!
