1st Period
Any rational number that can be expressed as the sum or difference of a finite number
of units, being a member of the set… -3, -2, -1, 0,1 ,2 ,3…
Integer
Any real number of the form alb, where a and b are integers and b is
not zero as 7 or 7/3.
Rational Number
A method of writing or displaying numbers in terms of a decimal number between 1
and 10 multiplied by a power of 10
Scientific Notation
An integer that is the square of an integer.
Perfect Square
Any real number that cannot be expressed as the ratio of two numbers,
such as π.
Irrational Number
A number expressible as a limit of rational numbers.
Real Numbers
The quality or condition of being dense.
Density Property
Two angles that have the same vertex and a side in common.
Adjacent Angles
A numerical or constant factor in algebraic terms.
Coefficient
Any algebraic expression that gives the distance between two points in a particular coordinate system in a particular number of
dimensions.
Distance Formula
The set of values of the independent variable for which a function is
defined.
Domain
The side of a right triangle opposite right angle.
Hypotenuse
The side which shares the common/neighboring border to the
right angle in a triangle.

Rational Number
Range
To arrange or dispose in a particular order, especially in rows or lines.

with respect to a change in the abscissa.
Slope
a polyhedron having parallel, polygonal, and congruent bases and
sides that are parallelograms
Prism
Statistics a graph that plots along two axes at right angles to each other the
relationship between two variable quantities, such as height and weight
Scatter plot
the equation of a straight line in the form y = mx + b where m is the slope
of the line and b is its y-intercept
Slope intercept form
