How would we cope with aMumbai-style attack in
Europe?2nd March 2010,
Crowne Plaza St Peters, Rome
Overview:Investment in aviation security in response to thethreat from international terrorism has largelygalvanised border agency and private sectorstakeholder partnership activity. Prospective aviationtargets for terrorist attack have undoubtedly beenhardened since 9/11. However, the November 2008attacks in Mumbai revealed the devastation terroristscould achieve by penetrating maritime borders.

• intelligence strategy• multi-agency threat & risk assessment• joint operational response capability
Benefits of attending: The workshop will allow delegates to share theirexperiences and explore worrying gaps in manyaspects of border security. It will also incorporate thecrucial role of the private sector: both as frontlinesecurity providers, and as suppliers of essentialtechnology & other supporting commodities.
