Volunteer opportunity: Night OWLS
Night OWLS is a faith-based ministry for children with
special needs and their siblings. Night OWLS provides a
night out for parents and a fun and caring night for their
children on every third Friday from October through
May, for three hours. During this time, each child is paired with a buddy
who participates in pre-planned activities and events according to
each child’s interests.
There are many ways you can help: prepare a meal for the volunteers,
help set up, provide entertainment, be a nurse or a loving sitter.
For more information and ways you can serve, contact Brenda Buckler
at [email protected] .
