Thank you to everyone who helped clean the church this week. We really appreciate each of you who volunteered. The church looks great!
Church Directory: Anyone who is new to the church or if you want to update your photo from the 2016 directory please sign up. Time slots are almost full and we have started a waiting list for those who need evening appointments. We are planning to add a second day when we get a full count of how many want on the waiting list. sign up in the foyer or call the office. There are discounts available for seniors, active and retired military, police, and first responders.
Quarterly Prayer and Praise Meeting: Our next Prayer & Praise meeting is on Thursday, September 5 at 7:00pm. We will be continuing some of our vision statement conversations and giving a demonstration on how to utilize Right Now Media in your home.
Youth Group Events: We are planning a trip to play Airsoft in Massillon on September 8th. We
will leave from the church at 1pm and return @ 4:30pm. It will cost $25 per person and only $20 per person if they bring a friend.
Guys and Girls Night: We are going to get together in the evening on September 8th at 5pm at the church. The guys can bring board games or gaming systems, and the girls are going to have a spa night at Chris Snyder’s home (we will carpool to her home in Dover). There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer if you can attend and what snack items we would like you to bring that evening.
Small Groups: The week of September 8, we will be launching a series of small group Bible Studies to accompany our sermon series on the book of 1 Peter. We will have one group meeting here at the church on Wednesday at 6:00p (our traditional Soul Food time). We will also have three groups meeting at different times throughout the week in people’s homes. A sign up sheet with exact times/locations will be posted in the upcoming weeks. The small groups will last for 6 weeks, at which time we will resume regular Soul Food Bible Study. If you are interested in being a part of these groups, please see Josh.
Cruise-In: Save the date for our 13th annual Cruise-In on September 29th from 3-6pm. We need pop and bottled water for that day. You can drop it off anytime in the office. Also, if you would like to donate money to help buy food for the event, please see Judy Anders or contact the office.
