US-UK Cooperative Development MOU
• US-UK Apache Cooperative Development MOU signed 22 May 00
• Focus = Identify potential areas of Apache Helicopter cooperation through the exchange of information and developing Project Arrangements (PA) to accomplish those efforts.
• Current PAs – Enhanced Radar Frequency Interferometer, 9 Dec 02– Under water Cockpit Egress Test, 21 Jun 04
• Potential PAs – Robertson External Fuel Tank Integration – Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) enhancements
• MOU is within the scope of the US/UK Rotary Wing Working Group which addresses all USG owned co-operative bi-lateral rotorcraft related technology based programs with the UK MoD
• MOU has enabled the Apache PM to bring developments forward that would not be resourced until out years. Enhanced PM’s ability to influence standardization and rationalization thru direct information exchanges.
