Integrity: Who are you when know one is looking?
(Proverbs 11)“Speaking honestly is better. It takes a lot of stress out of our
lives. If you tell the truth you don’t have to remember anything, but if you don’t tell the truth you have to remember what you
said.” Mark Twain
So Why Integrity?• IntegritymustbeavalueIholdifitistowork.• Integrity provides me with Protection.• Integrity provides me with Security. • IntegrityprovidesmewithGuidance.• Integrity provides me with Hope.• Integrity provides me with the blessing of the Lord
Integrating Integrity In our Lives:“He who walks in integrity walks securely, but he who perverts
his ways will be found out.” Proverbs 10:9
“The integrity of the upright will guide them, but the crooked-ness of the treacherous will destroy them.” Proverbs 11:3.
“The righteousness of the blameless will smooth his way, but the wicked will fall by his own wickedness”. Proverbs 11:5.
Sermon Notes (cont.)“The perverse in heart are an abomination to the Lord, but the
blameless in their walk are His delight”. Proverbs 11:20
“Righteousness guards the one whose way is blameless, but wick-edness subverts the sinner”. Proverbs 13:6
“Folly is joy to him who lacks sense, but a man of understanding walks straight [in integrity]”. Proverbs 15:21
“Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than one who is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.” Proverbs 19:
“A righteous man who walks in his integrity— How blessed are his sons after him”. Proverbs 20:7
We learned about honesty and integrity - that the truth mat-ters... that you don’t take shortcuts or play by your own set of rules... and success doesn’t count unless you earn it fair and
square. Michelle Obama
